View pattern
Are you constantly searching for your shopping cart token or your euro coin?
Then these little bugs are just right for you. Not only are they cute, they also keep your shopping token securely attached to your key ring.
The pattern includes pictures and is also suitable for beginners with basic skills.
You’ll need:
10 g cotton yarn, 125 m/50 g, cotton scraps for the spots, or buttons, or Sock Stop, decorative studs with spikes, 8 mm diameter
crochet hook size 2.5 (this makes the little bug nice and sturdy), sewing needle, key ring
You can also use other yarn than specified in the pattern; it only changes the size of the bug (thick yarn = larger, thin yarn = smaller)
You should know how to:
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches
The little bug can be used as a token holder on your key ring, an appliqué for bags/trousers, a gift tag, a flower decoration, etc. Or you can crochet the body twice and decorate both sides if it isn’t meant to be used as a token holder.
