Weekend: What are you up to?

Dear users, dear authors,
the week is over. How are you going to relax?

I’ll be staying in bed because I’ve caught a nasty flu, and that’s the last thing I need right now. (I know, you never need that.) But I have to be fit for surgery in a week.

I’ll be spending as much of the weekend as possible outside in the garden. There’s quite a bit of pruning to do, and of course I’ll be bringing my knitting with me.

For me, the garden is the ultimate way to relax, no matter what I’m doing there.

This weekend, I’m dealing with my osteoarthritis, which is really painful right now. I can’t do any crafts or anything else—all my finger joints are swollen and aching, just like the rest of my joints. Something’s brewing in the weather, and I can feel it everywhere.

Today we enjoyed the sunshine on a long walk through the woods. It was so lovely, and the sun warmed us since the trees don’t have any leaves yet.

As far as I’m concerned, this beautiful weather can last until next weekend.

We were at the North Sea in Büsum today. It was so nice, and Anton enjoyed it too.

Now I’m lying on the sofa, completely exhausted, and starting to crochet.
