When the snow begins to melt in spring, the first pussy willows appear. If you’re already longing for spring, why not crochet your own pussy willow branch? Together with the pussy willow flower child, it makes a wonderful spring decoration for your seasonal table. You can crochet the catkins on the branch using fluffy yarn or make them from silver-gray velour, plush, or velvet. Then they’ll be almost indistinguishable from the real thing.

The charming flower child is dressed entirely in the colors of the pussy willow branch and wears a silver-gray fur cap. Thanks to the built-in wire, it has movable arms and legs, so you can pose it in all sorts of different ways.

To crochet the flower child, you’ll need:
  • Cotton scraps, 125 m/50 g (e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr) in brown and soft apricot
  • Fuzzy yarn in silver-gray, leftover (e.g., Phil douce by Phildar)
  • Polyester stuffing
  • Wire
  • Chenille wire (pipe cleaner) for the arms and legs (but you can also omit this; the limbs will then remain stiff)
  • Embroidery floss in black and pink
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • 1 thick sewing needle for sewing the pieces together
  • 1 sharp needle for embroidering the face
  • some felt or crepe paper (brown)
  • Optional: a small scrap of silver-gray velour or plush (wellness fleece)
You can download the pattern right here!

This crocheted train is a hit with all train fans!

It’s especially suitable for the very little ones who still want to put everything in their mouths and are still too young to play with a “real” train. This train is so soft and sturdy that it can be thrown around without getting damaged and can even be taken to bed at night. Slightly older children can have their Playmobil figures or other little dolls ride along, and for grown-ups, it makes a great decoration.

The train is crocheted using cotton yarn with a length of 125m/50g (such as Catania by Schachenmayr). With the value set (pattern for the locomotive + cars), you save over 205 compared to buying them separately.

More detailed material information and the pattern are available here!

From now on, you’ll love knitting socks. Because this heel makes it incredibly easy. I never liked knitting heels, and now I’m a total sock fan.

The pattern is written for 3 needles (CraSyTrio). The instructions can also be easily adapted for a set of double-pointed needles.

This raglan sweater was designed specifically for teddy bears and dolls measuring approximately 25–30 cm. It fits Teddy Fynn perfectly, for example.

Very easy to knit, even for advanced beginners.

This little strap dress grows with your child—from 1.5 to 5 years. Little by little, it turns into a sweet little skirt. That way, this favorite piece can be enjoyed for a long time.

Good for advanced beginners to make. There are no seams; the little dress is knitted in one piece from the bottom up.

This crochet shawl is a real eye-catcher. You start at the tip, and you can decide for yourself when to finish it based on the size.

I used 150 g of Tahiti by Schachenmayr. You should be familiar with chain stitches, double crochets, and single crochets. The pattern is explained in written form, and you’ll also find a crochet chart.

Simple, understated, and beautiful—that's this fluffy-soft triangular shawl. It is crocheted from the side and is almost symmetrical.

The pattern is super easy to work and really fun. Since you crochet almost exclusively under chain-stitch arches, it’s perfect to work on casually while chatting over coffee or watching TV.
The pattern explains everything in great detail, with step-by-step photos, text, and a crochet chart.

Very well suited for beginners.

Thanks to the lace pattern, the shawl is wonderfully airy and soft. It drapes beautifully and can be worn in many different ways. A true classic!

Here is the pattern

If you love both flowers and candlelight, then this tea light holder is just right for you!

The tea light holder is made of photo cardstock and is approximately 13 cm in diameter. It’s very easy to make for craft beginners with a little experience, but thanks to the illustrated pattern, it’s also well-suited for ambitious craft newcomers.

The Diamond scarf/stole is a simple in-between project.
The pattern is absolutely beginner-friendly, explained in detail, and also illustrated with a chart.
You’ll need at least 200g of sock-weight yarn; it also looks great with gradient yarn.

The size can be easily adjusted to your preferences, especially if you have a little extra yarn on hand.

A taste of spring—this bright little bouquet of flowers reminds you every morning that winter will soon be over.

This small table decoration is made from photo cardstock and is about 13 cm in diameter. You can add more flowers to it as desired. The decoration is very easy to make and is also great for crafting with kids.
