Hi,
there are relatively few patterns with stars in the shop: a star gift tag, a few star pillows, a few star appliqués on hats and shirts, but not much more.
Stars are a good idea, among other things, as
- ornaments for the Christmas tree.
- Christmas tree toppers
- placemats / coasters

I would actually have expected significantly more star ornaments, for example as gift tags, bag charms, keyrings, tree decorations, etc.
Stars are, after all, a well-known Advent and Christmas motif. The Star of Bethlehem, or even these red plants. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weihnachtsstern_%28Pflanze%29

@Buyers
is there any interest from your side?
@Sellers
is the star even a topic for you?

Update
This thread can now be used for advertising.
Please post a maximum of two patterns per author, each with an image, a link, and at least four lines of text.

Maybe I’ll get the ball rolling and sew something star-themed and show it here

Is it okay to show the stars here, Josefa?

Yes, you can do that. Have fun

@all
You can present your stars here in the thread. Please include a good image, link, and at least four lines of text for each one.
Good luck

Thanks!
I’ve come up with three different stars for you. The first star is very easy to crochet; the other two are a little more challenging—I hope I’ve explained it clearly.
You can crochet the stars with fillet crochet yarn to make very delicate little stars, or with cotton yarn to make them a bit larger. And, of course, everyone can make them in their favorite color. You can use them as gift tags or hang them on the Christmas tree—they always look pretty.
Have fun crocheting them!

These turned out beautifully. I think these snowflakes will be in high demand on the day of the first snowfall.

I’m moving the thread to the “Recommendations” section and wish the other authors the best of luck as well.

So, I’ve sewn the stars, but my camera isn’t taking pictures.
I’ll try my luck at my friend’s place tomorrow.
Until then...
Best regards

I crocheted stars that look beautiful as Christmas decorations.
You can hang them on gifts, use them as Christmas tree ornaments, or during the winter season as bag charms or keychains.
I like them best in classic Christmas colors:

My star is finally finished too.
Personally, I don’t find crocheting stars all that easy. To be honest, I had to think about it a bit longer.

But now it’s finished. The star is blue, which makes it very versatile and not “just” a festive star. Of course, everyone can decide for themselves which color to use.

Everyone can let their imagination run wild and give their star a very personal touch.

Then I’d like to show my stars. They’re made using the paper piecing technique (sewing on paper/sewing by numbers). Using different fabrics makes each piece one of a kind. Even just switching from light to dark fabrics creates a completely new look. What’s more, this technique is great for using up fabric scraps. The pattern for the first two stars is available in my shop, and I’ll be adding the others soon.

I also have stars—specifically as window decorations.
They measure approximately 30 x 26 cm, are made from cardstock and tracing paper, and are attached to the windows using small rolls of adhesive tape. Templates for these are available here
