Sweet shells make a wonderful little cotton bag that is just about perfect for summer days. Simple shell and post stitches are crocheted around a base of single crochet stitches. Materials: Yarn: The bag shown in the photo is crocheted in "Emilia" (a sports weight or size 3) yarn from Omega Yarns. Since gauge is not crucial on this project, you can use almost any sports weight or DK weight yarn. You will need approximately 500 yards to complete this bag.
Tools: U.S. size F crochet hook.
