MATERIALS AND TOOLS

• Yarn
  Main color – 30 g of Light Fingering/3 ply angora or acrylic yarn. I used “Angora de Luxe” from YarnArt (70% Mohair, 30% Acrylic, 550 m/100 g).
  Contrasting color – small amount of Light Fingering/3 ply angora or acrylic yarn. I used “Angora de Luxe” from YarnArt (70% Mohair, 30% Acrylic, 550 m/100 g).
• Steel hook matching the yarn weight. You can use 1.25 mm (US steel hook – 10, UK steel hook – 5 1/2) or 1.5 mm (US steel hook – 8, UK steel hook - 4 1/2) crochet hook for the yarn mentioned above.
• White embroidery thread for the white of the eyes – small amount.
• Two half beads for the eyes (ø 5-6 mm).
• Ready-made nose.
• Sewing needle and tapestry needle for tightening.
• Strong black thread for tightening.
• Single core copper PVC electrical wire approximately 40-45 cm (16-18 inches) long 1 mm diameter. Use only copper wire with plastic covering for the frame as copper can better stand bending compared to aluminum. You can buy it at electric supplies stores.
• Plaster - adhesive-backed fabric tape 1-1.5 cm wide to work up the wire (the one you use to cover wounds).
• Stuffing.
• Transparent glue.
• A piece of white felt for the white of the eyes (optional).
• Wooden stick for stuffing hard-to-get-to places.
• Several sewing pins.
