Easily knit socks! Fixe Quicky Heel, 'Memory', sizes EU 34–47, 6-ply

Knitting socks is easy with the "Fixe-Quicky" Heel. The "Memory" socks feature a slipped-stitch pattern that repeats from the toe to the cuff. The pattern includes 9 pages + 2 pages with photo tutorials for the increases and decreases.

• Knitting toe-up socks is easier than you think! In the video link, I show you the cast-on for starting at the toe without a hole. It is quite simple.
• The "Memory" Fixe-Quicky Heel is a toe-up sock, meaning it is knitted from the bottom up. The pattern can also be used for all other heel types.
• The socks are knitted in the round throughout.
• The socks are knitted WITHOUT short rows.

With socks, it is always very difficult to give exact yardage/amounts. Depending on leg length, size, pattern, or knitting style, consumption varies. I have summarized some general guidelines here.

My yarn used for the Fixe-Quickie Heel is "Trekking XXL 6-ply" by Atelier Zitron. My sock is size 37, yarn consumption approx. 70g/pair. 100g/400m.

1 set of double-pointed needles (DPNs) size 3 mm.

Optionally a stitch marker.

Tapestry needle for weaving in ends, scissors.

It is recommended to knit a gauge swatch. If you knit too loosely, try using a needle size half a size smaller.

Gauge: 6-ply sock yarn, needle size 3 mm, 10 x 10 cm = 38 rows and 28 stitches.

Here are some general guidelines:

Sizes 34–35: approx. 50–60g, approx. leg length 9–15 cm

Sizes 36–37: approx. 65–70g, approx. leg length 10–17 cm

Sizes 38–39: approx. 70–75g, approx. leg length 11–18 cm

Sizes 40–41: approx. 75–80g, approx. leg length 11–20 cm

Sizes 42–43: approx. 85–90g, approx. leg length 11–20 cm

Sizes 44–45: approx. 95–100g, approx. leg length 12–20 cm
