If you want to stuff your frog, fill it firmly with fiberfill. Alternatively, you can leave the body unstuffed to use your frog Frodo as a snuggler.

Next, two bobble stitches are crocheted for the eyes. It will be worked like this:
Crochet an unfinished dc: Yarn over and insert your hook in the next stitch. Yarn over and pull through. Now you have 3 loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through two loops. That’s your first unfinished dc. Repeat till you have 4 unfinished dc on your hook (in total 5 loops on your hook). Yarn over and pull through all 5 loops. After crocheting the next few stitches, you have to push the bobble outwards. (Tip: For this, it's best to use the back of your crochet hook, provided it has a rubber grip.)

12. Rnd:    booble, 5 sc, booble, 9 sc  (16)

13. Rnd:    dec x8                                      (8)

Place the eyes in the booble stitches, leaving approximately 3 visible stitches (center to the body and the belly spot) between the eyes. Make sure to position the eyes on the inner part of the face (when inserting the needle into the cluster stitch).

Cut the thread, pull it through the FLO of the last 8 stitches using a thick needle or your crochet hook, pull it tight, knot it and sew it in.

Finish:

With pink yarn you can embroider little cheeks below your frog Frodo's eyes (with 2-3 repetitions) or (if he won't fall into the hands of babies) paint them on with a little blush.

Using white cotton yarn, embroider the whites of the eyes along the outer edges of each eye.

Embroider the mouth with a length of 2 (or more) stitches, either directly between the eyes or in a completely individual style, e.g., in a V-shape.

Now, if you like, tie the long legs in a knot in the middle at the height where the knees should be. You can also cross the long arms to give your Frodo a grumpier look.
