I have put together a few ⭐️tricks for crochet with furry yarn⭐️ that I have developed myself over crochet of dozens fluffy amigurumies for those who want to make it easier and faster:
❗️Remember that the ability to work with textured yarn comes with experience! (oddly enough?😉) The more often you use it, the easier it will be with each created toy.

✅1. Good lighting. The best option is to crochet in daylight by the window, but if this is not possible, then you can use a headlamp with cold light (with cold light (5000K is optimal for me, higher will be brighter, but too cold is unpleasant for my eyes).
✅2. Take a larger hook. Then the loops will be larger and easier to see. There may be gaps, but the texture of the yarn will hide them.
✅3. Use the row/stitch counter or make notes about the worked rows/rounds. Since it is difficult to see rows/rounds in textured yarn, it is necessary to know exactly how many rows/rounds you have worked so as not to get confused.
✅4. Mark all important reference points/rows/rounds with stitch markers (plastic/metal/threads). To do this, review the entire crochet pattern in advance and make notes about the rows/rounds where there should be tightenings or places of attachment of important body parts.
📍The following two tips are for those who were not helped by the previous four tips. They are going to help beginners to learn the work with textured yarn. But their use may affect the appearance of the finished toy – it may differ visually from the original version in the toy crochet pattern.
✅5. Use an additional fine NON-textured thread of the same shade to crochet. Use two threads at once and the additional thread will visually highlight the loops in this way.
✅6. When using yarn with a very long fur (for example, Himalaya Kuzucuk), you can alternate the yarn type each row/round – one row is worked with a fur thread, the second row – with a plush/chenille thread similar in thickness and color (for example, Himalaya Dolphin Baby).
❗️It is important to use the same hook. It is better to crochet on the wrong side, because such long fur will remain on the wrong side of the detail and it will be difficult to comb it out on the front side.
