Free Crochet Pattern for RabbitsHeart

This small and delightful heart can be used as decoration or as a nice gift for someone special. You can add ribbon loop so that it´s possible to hand up your lovely decoration. 

MATERIAL

Schachenmayr Catania 50 g/137 yds, Sport Yarn, 5ply in any desired color, crochet hook C, polyester fiber fill stuffing, two black beads or little safety eyes.

St = stitch

dec = decrease stitch (two single crochets together)

inc = increase stitch (two single crochets into one stitch)

The ready rabbit is approx. 18 cm, can be made bigger or smaller depending on yarn and hook you use.

TIPPS

• Do not join rounds, work in a continuous spiral.
• Use a stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the end or the beginning of a round
• All stitches are worked into both loops, unless stated otherwise in the pattern.
• The heart can be made in any desired colours.

Seamsless way of changing color when working in the round

Pick up the new color at the end of the round: inset your hook into the stitch, yarn over the new color and pull through the stitch and the loop on your hook to complete the stitch.

Rnd 8: *dec, sc in each of next 2 sts* (9 sts)

Cast off leaving a long tail for sewing.

ASSEMBLY

Sew ears to the head.

Sew eyes.

Embroider mouth and nose with black yarn.

Decorate as desired.
