«Easter glade» – jar lid decor

Spring decor for the holiday table. And decorating a jar for collecting Easter eggs.

Materials

– Alize softy 50 gr/280 m

– YarnArt Jeans 50 gr/160 m

– crochet hook 1,75 and 3

– needle, scissors, some filler

– for the eyes 2 small buttons.

Abbreviations:

sc – single crochet –столбик без накида

inc – increase –inc ибавка

hdc – half double crochet - полустолбик с накидом

The container I chose for this project has a lid measuring 4.13 inches (10.5 cm) in diameter.

I suggest you try your hand at this fluffy yarn on simple shapes. If you take a large hook, it becomes easier to crochet.

Easter glade (green):

1. Crochet 6 sc in a ring

2. 6 inc = 12 sc

3. (1 inc, 1 sc) х 6 = 18 sc

4. (1 inc, 2 sc) х 6 = 24 sc

5. (1 inc, 3 sc) х 6 = 30 sc

6. 30 sc

7. (1 inc, 4 sc) х 6 = 36 sc

8. 36 sc

9. (1 inc, 5 sc) х 6 = 42 sc

10. ( 1inc, 6 sc) х 6 = 48 sc

11. (1 inc, 7 sc) х 6 = 54 sc

12. (1 inc, 8 sc) х 6 = 60 sc

13, 14. 60 sc

Bind off. To cut off a thread.

Try on the resulting part with your chosen cover.

The head of the hare (white):

1. Crochet 6 sc in a ring

2. 6 inc = 12 sc

3. (1 inc, 1 sc) х 6 = 18 sc

4. (1 inc, 2 sc) х 6 = 24 sc

5. (1 inc, 3 sc) х 6 = 30 sc

6, 7. 30 sc

Bind off. To cut off a thread. To leave the small end of thread for further operation.

Rabbit ears (white part 2 pcs.):

1. Crochet 6 sc in a ring

2. 6 inc = 12 sc

3 – 5. 12 sc

6. (1 inc, 1 sc) х 6 = 18 sc

7 – 13. = 18 sc

Bind off. To cut off a thread. To leave the small end of thread for further operation.

The pink part for the ears (2 pieces):

Ch 15. From the 2rd ch from the hook, crochet 13 hdc, 3 hdc in 1, 13 hdc

Bind off. To cut off a thread. To leave the small end of thread for further operation.

Attach the pink part in the center of the white ears. Sew as shown in the photo.

In the center of the green part (future clearing) sew a white part (bunny head), adding a little filler.

At the base of the ear, bend the edges slightly toward the center and sew to the head (the white part). The top edge of the ear can be bent slightly and secured with a couple of stitches.

Now pick up the eyes. If you have chosen a fluffy yarn, it is better to take a button on a loop. They will fit well in this yarn. If you have a bunny tied with a smooth yarn, you can fix the half-beads on the glue.

If the resulting green detail (glade) itself is not very tightly fastened to your chosen cover, I suggest. You can either fix it with glue. Or pull a round "hat" rubber band over the edge. The part will stretch a little, and there may be a choice for different lids.
