Christmas Tree Toy Sleeping Bunny

Materials:

Yarn of the same thickness for your choice (acrylic, cotton). The yarn colour is at your discretion.

I used Alize Cotton Gold yarn, 330 m/100 g. My bunny is 7 cm high + ears. The consumption of yarn is small.

- A crochet hook, I have 1,25 mm crochet hook;

- Hollow fibre for stuffing;

- A sewing needle, matching sewing threads;

- For embroidery: a few threads of black and pink.

Abbreviations:

ch – chain

sc – single crochet

inc – increase (2 sc in 1 st)

dec – decrease (single crochet two stitches together)

Head

Pull off the loops. Cut the thread, hide the end.

Ear (make 2)

Cut off yarn, leave a tail for further operation.

 Fold the ear lengthwise and connect the edge at the base with two or three stitches.

Scarf

58 ch

1. starting from 2nd ch from hook: 57 sc, ch, turn = 57

2-3. 57 sc, ch, turn = 57

Fasten off, cut off.

Assembly and Decoration

Attach the ears and sew them on.

The eyes are between the 8th and 9th rounds. The length of the eye is 4 stitches, the distance between the eyes is 5 stitches.

Embroider the left eye with stitches:

            1. Fasten the thread in an inconspicuous place (for example, where the scarf will be), withdraw needle in the outer spot of the eye (point 1).

            2. Insert the needle into spot 2 - the inner part of the eye.

            3. And take needle out in spot 3 - the upper part of the eyelid.

            4. Wrap the working thread around the "eyelid" and re-insert the needle at spot 3, and take it out in spot 1.

            5. Embroider the cilia (spots 4 and 5)

            Embroider the right eye similarly. Fasten off, cut off.

Embroider a nose.

Sew or glue the scarf.

Sew the loop.
