Row 2: ch1, sc in each of next 8 sts, 2 hdc in each of next 2 sts, sc in each of next 8 sts, turn.

Row 3: ch1, sc in each of next 6 sts, 1 hdc in each of next 8 sts, sc in each of next 6 sts, turn

Row 4: ch1, sc in each of next 3 sts, 1 hdc in each of next 6 sts, dc in each of next 2 sts, hdc in each of next 6 sts, sc in each of next 3 sts, turn .

Row 5: ch 1, sc2tog, sc in each of next 8 sts, ch 50, 1 sl st in each of next 49 sts, 1 sc in each of next 8 sts, sc2tog.

To make the second earflap count 20 sts from the last stitch of the first earflap to the left and attach yarn into next stitch.

STEM

Rnd 1: Chain 2 stitches, 6 sc in second st.

Rnd 3: 2 sc in each of next 12 sts.
