Kid’s teddy bear blanket

It is crocheted with a plush yarn, you can not only wrap yourself up in it during cold evenings, but also you can play with it, imagine that you are a little teddy bear.

The size of the blanket is : 100 cm x120 cm (without hood)

You’ll need the following to crochet this blanket:

- the crocheting hook - 6 mm

- a plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin baby 120 m/100 gr. - ca. 1000 gr (10 piece)

Abbreviations:

sc – single crochet

ch – chain

inc – increase, crochet two stitches in one

dec – decrease, crochet two stitches together

dc – double crochet

Blanket:

Crochet 181 ch, from the 2nd loop from the hook:

1.180 sc, turn the work

2. 3 ch, 180 dc, turn the work

3- 25. 1 ch, 180 sc, turn the work

26. 1 ch, 165 sc, turn the work not crocheting 15 stitches to the end of the row.

27. 1 ch, 150 sc, turn the work not crocheting 15 stitches to the end of the row.

Further crochet the rows of 150 stitches,

28- 118. 1 ch, 150 sc, turn the work

Crochet along the whole perimeter of the blanket with sc.

Hood:

Count out 55 stitches from the both sides at the top of the blanket, and crochet along 70 stitches in the middle of the blanket

1-28. 1 ch, 70 sc, turn the work

29. 1 ch, 35 sc, turn the work not crocheting 35 stitches to the end of the row,

30. 1 ch, 1 dec, 33 sc, turn the work

31. 1 ch, 34 sc, turn the work

32. 1 ch, 1 dec, 32 sc, turn the work

33. 1 ch, 33 sc, turn the work

34. 1 ch, 1 dec, 31 sc, turn the work

35. 1 ch, 32 sc, turn the work

36. 1 ch, 1 dec, 30 sc, turn the work

37. 1 ch, 29 sc, 1 dec

Fasten off.

Attach the yarn in the middle of the 29 row,

1. crochet 35 sc, turn the work,

2. 1 ch, 33 sc, 1 dec, turn the work

3. 1 ch, 34 sc, turn the work

4. 1 ch, 32 sc, 1 dec, turn the work

5. 1 ch, 33 sc, turn the work

6. 1 ch, 31 sc, 1 dec, turn the work

7. 1 ch, 32 sc, turn the work

8. 1 ch, 30 sc, 1 dec, turn the work

10. 1 ch, 29 sc, 1 dec, turn the work

Sew two parts of the hood together, fasten off and cut the yarn.

For the legs: fold upper 24 rows, which consist of 15 stitches, inside, sew.

You should get 30 stitches at the top, attach the yarn and crochet in a circle 10 more rows upward:

Tighten a thread, cut and hide the end.

Crochet along the hood and the upper part of the blanket with sc.

Ears:

1.6 sc in the magic ring.

7- 10. 36 sc

Tighten the ears and sew them to the hood.
