MATERIALS

Ca 50 gr Schachenmayr Catania 50 g/137 yds, Sport Yarn, 5ply, crochet hook 3,5 mm and 2,5 mm.

INSTRUCTIONS

Crochet hook 3,5 mm

BOTTOM

Rnd 1: Chain 4 stitches, join with sl st into ring. Ch3, 11dc in ring, sl st (12 sts)

Rnd 2: ch3, dc in the same st as ch, 2 dc in each of next 11 sts, sl st to top of ch 3 (24 stitches)

Rnd 3: ch 3, dc in the same st as ch, dc in next st, *2 dc in next st, dc in next st*, repeat from*to* 11 times, sl st to top of ch 3 (36 stitches)

Rnd 4: ch 3, dc in the same st as ch, dc in next st, *2 dc in next st, dc in each of next 2 st*, repeat from*to* 11 times, sl st to top of ch 3 (48 stitches)

Rnd 5: ch 3, dc in the same st as ch, dc in next st, *2 dc in next st, dc in each of next 3 st*, repeat from*to* 11 times, sl st to top of ch 3 (60 stitches)

Rnd 6: ch 3, dc in the same st as ch, dc in next st, *2 dc in next st, dc in each of next 4 st*, repeat from*to* 11 times, sl st to top of ch 3 (72 stitches)

Rnd 7: ch 3, dc in the same st as ch, dc in next st, *2 dc in next st, dc in each of next 5 st*, repeat from*to* 11 times, sl st to top of ch 3 (84 stitches)

BASKET

Rnd 9 (working in the back loop): dc in each of next 96 sts.

Rnd 10: ch3, *skip next 2sts, (3 dc, ch1, 3dc) in next st, skip next 2 sts, 1fpdc in next st*, repeat from * to* till the end of Rnd.

Rnd 11-18: ch3, *skip next 2sts, (3 dc, ch1, 3dc) in next ch-1 space, skip next 2sts, 1fpdc into the fpdc of the previous round*, repeat from * to* till the end of Rnd.

Cast off.

HANDLE

Cast on 80 sts. 5 rows in sc´s. Cast off leaving a long tail.

Seam both ends together as shown on image.

LINING

Crochet hook 2,5 mm

Rnd 1: Chain 4 stitches, join with sl st into ring. Ch3, 11dc in ring, sl st (12 sts)

Rnd 1: yellow yarn - ch2, 5sc in the second ch from hook, sl st.

Rnd 2: white yarn - *ch6, 1sc in the second st from hook and next st, 1hdc in next st, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sl st in the same st as ch-6, sl st in next st*, repeat from* to* 5 times.

FINISHING

Sew handle to the basket.

Sew lining inside the basket.

Weave ribbon or crochet chain through spaces between dc´s of the last round and sew flowers on.
