Sleeping Mouse

Materials:
- Yarn of your choice. Cotton, acrylic will do
- Colors: gray, pink, brown, for blankets and pillows:  choose 2 matching colours 
The consumption of yarn is small
My mouse is crocheted from yarn "Angora Real 40" 500m / 100gr. Mouse size 10 cm
- A crochet hook, I have 1,5 mm crochet hook
- Hollow fibre for stuffing
- A sewing needle, matching sewing threads
- Black colour embroidery yarn/thread

Abbreviations:
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc –double crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in 1 st)
dec – decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
(...) x N times – repeat instructions in brackets N times

Work with gray colour yarn
Lower paw (make 2)
1) 6 sc in a Magic Ring
2) (1 sc, inc)х3 times (9)
3-4) 9 sc

Add some hollow fiber. Fold the part in two, work 3 sc by hooking through both edges of the part. 
Fasten off, cut off. 

Upper paw (make 2)

Add some hollow fiber. Fold the part in two, work 3 sc by hooking through both edges of the part.

Blanket
Choose 2 matching colours. Colour A and colour B. 
Start with the colour A.

1) Starting from 2nd ch from hook: 20 sc, ch, turn (20)
2-20) 20 sc, ch, turn (20)
Do not cut thread. Crochet the blanket around with sc.

Change the yarn to colour B. Crochet all the edges as follows: (3 ch, skip 1 loop, 1 sc), repeat until the end. 
Fasten off, cut off.

The middle of the blanket
Work with the colour В.
8 ch
1) Starting from 2nd ch from hook: 7 sc, ch, turn (7)
2-7) 7 sc, ch, turn (7) 
Fasten off, cut off.
Sew it to the blanket.

Pillow (2 parts) 
Start with the colour B.
11 ch
1) Starting from 2nd ch from hook: 10 sc, ch, turn (10)
2-10) 10 sc, ch, turn (10) 
Fasten and cut off thread of Part 1, do not cut thread of Part 2. Join both parts together, work all the edges around with sc hooking through both parts. Add some hollow fiber. 

Change the yarn to colour А. Crochet all the edges as follows: (3 ch, skip 1 loop, 1 sc), repeat until the end. 
Fasten off, cut off.

Sew on the head. Attach the upper paws so that they are directed upwards. Sew them on. 

Sew on the ears. Sew on the tail.

Embroider the smile and closed eyelids  with black yarn.

The mouse is completed! Put him to bed!
