Another bookworm (volumetric)

Materials

– alize miss 50 гр/280 м

– crochet hook 1,25 mm

– needle for sewing, scissors, glue

– for eyes - some white felt, some black thread

Abbreviations:

ch – Chain 

sl st – slip stitch

sc – single crochet 

hdc – half double crochet 

dc – double crochet 

inc – increase 

BODY (6 pcs)

Ch 5. From the 2rd ch from the hook, crochet 3 sc, 3 sc in 1, 3 sc, 3 sc in 1 = 12

2. 3 sc, 3 inc, 3 sc, 3 inc = 18

3. 3 sc, (inc, 1 sc) х 3, 3 sc, (inc, 1 sc) х 3= 24

4. 3 sc, (inc, 2 sc) х 3, 3 sc, (inc, 2 sc) х 3= 30

5. 3 sc, (inc, 3 sc) х 3, 3 sc, (inc, 3 sc) х 3= 36

Bind off. To cut off a thread. To leave the small end of thread for further operation.

Sew together the details. They can be placed exactly in a row. Or arrange it a little chaotically.

From the last detail we make a tail.

Ch 9. From the 2rd ch from the hook, crochet 1 sl st, 1 sc, 2 hdc, 4 dc

Bind off. To cut off a thread.

HEAD

Detail 1:

1. 5 sc  into the ring, ch, turn

2. 5 inc = 10, ch, turn

3. 10 sc, ch, turn

4. (inc, 1 sc) х 5 = 15, ch, turn

5. 15 sc, ch, turn

6. (inc, 2 sc) х 5 = 20

NOSE:

1. 6 sc into the ring

2. 6 inc = 12 sc

Bind off. To cut off a thread. To leave the small end of thread for further operation.

Glue on some white felt for the eyes. Embroider eyes with black thread as shown in the photo. Place a strip of black thread around the felt. Sew on the nose.

Sew on the head.

Add a brush. Cut a few pieces of thread about 8-9 cm. Fold them in half, secure with thread.
