Crochet Pattern Needle Case

Materials:

Baby wool 100g=164m

Crochet Hook size 5,00 mm

Card board

Scissor

Measuring tape, button, sewing needle

Abbreviation (US):

DC – Doble Crochet (US)

Sl st – slip stitch

SC – Single Crochet

CH – Chain

Cast on 28 CH

1. Row

Into the 2nd ST from hook work 1 SC:

Yarn over, yarn over and pull thru 2 loops,

In same ST 1 DC:

Yarn over hook and go thru the ST.

Now you have 3 loops on the hook.

Yarn over again – and pull thru 2 loops, yarn over,

Pull yarn thru.

Skip 1 CH, in next ST work 1 SC and 1 DC,

*skip 1 ST, in next ST 1 SC and 1 DC *

Repeat from * to * till end of row.

turn.

2. RD

1 CH, 1 SC and 1 DC in 1st ST. Skip 1 ST,

* 1 SC and 1 DC in next ST, skip 1 ST *

Repeat from * to * till end of row.

Repeat Row 2 till you reach lenght as wished.

Pockets

Crochet Hook Pocket

Cast on 4 CH, 2 DC in first ST:

* yarn over in 1st ST, pull yarn thru.

Yarn over again and pull thru 2 loops, yarn over and again thru both loops *

Repeat from * to * once. 1 CH and Additional 3 DC in 1st ST.

*turn

In 1st ST 1 sl st:

Hook in, get thread thru and pull thru first loop

One more sl st in CH of round before.

3 CH (3 CH replace 1 DC), 2 DC, 1 CH, 3 DC in CH of round before.*

Repeat from * to * - 7 times.

Make a Border: between 6th and 5th ST (see Pictures) go in with hook and world 3 SC,

*1 row down and 3 SC between 6th and 5th DC.*

Repeat from * to * 7 times.

2 SC at the bottom, 3 SC between 1st and 2nd DC.

* 1 sl st between 2nd and 3rd DC. Go 1 row up and work 3 SC between 1st and 2nd DC *

Repeat from * to * 7 times.

Scissor Bag

A scissor bag you work as the crochet hook bag.

Cast on 8 CH in 3rd ST from hook work (2 DC, 1 CH, 3 DC),

Skip 3 ST, in next ST work (3 DC,1 CH, 3 DC).

Turn

*1 sl st between 5th and 6th DC of row before, and 1 sl st in CH of round before. (3 CH, 2 DC, 1 CH, 3 DC) in CH of round before *

Repeat from * to * 3 times (or if you want more times).

Make a border.

Sew Pocket into part 1

Finishing

Put both parts on each other and sew the top and the bottom together. 2 Row in the middle stay „not sewed“ (see Pictures)

2 Row from Part 2 in the middle top and bottom leave open!

2 parts (left and right) leave space now. With measuring tape figure out the length and wide of the Bag – and cut a rectangle of card board (round the corners) and place them inside the bag.

Crochet the both sides together:

Put hook thru both parts – yarn over and 1 SC,

Continue work of 1 SC in every ST till end of the row.

Closure

Cast on 38 CH (or depending or your Button), Work a loop, find a fitting place – hide the other tails – and sew the loop to the bag with a sewing needle. Sew Button in place.
