“A field of fly agaric mushrooms” – ring stand

Materials:

– Alize forever 50 g/300 m red, white colours.

– Lanoso puf 100 g /160 m green or any other yarn imitating "grass".

– 1,25mm and 2,5mm crochet hook

– a sewing needle, a pair of scissors, hollow fibre stuffing, transparent all purpose glue, 1,5mm gauge and 70cm (approx 27,55″) long wire segment,

– the unexpected element is a stone. It must be stable and heavy to be a solid foundation.

Abbreviations:

ch – chain

sc – single crochet

inc – increase

dec - decrease, two single crochets together 

Red part of mushroom hat (3 pieces)

1. Crochet 6 sc in a magic ring

2. (1 sc, 1 inc) х 3 = 9 sc

3, 4. 9 sc

5. (2 sc, 1 inc) х 3 = 12 sc

6 – 8. 12 sc

9. (3 sc, 1 inc) х 3 = 15 sc

4. (2 sc, 1 inc) х 6 = 24 sc into the back loop

5. (3 sc, 1 inc) х 6 = 30 sc

6. (4 sc, 1 inc) х 6 = 36 sc

7. (5 sc, 1 inc) х 6 = 42 sc

8. (6 sc, 1 inc) х 6 = 48 sc

9. (7 sc, 1 inc) х 6 = 54 sc

Back to row four.

1. Crochet on the front of the loop 18 sc.

2. (3 sc into 1) х 18 = 54 sc

Bind off. Cut off any excess yarn.  

Make any three pieces of wire. For example, 2 to 23 and 20 cm.

Put the white part of the mushroom on the wire as shown in the photo. Put the red part of the fungus on top. Add the filler. Sew both parts as shown in the photo.

We add white dots. Make 5-9 wraps around the needle as shown. See the photo.

Apply some glue along the wire and spin white yarn over it as shown.

For our glade to be stable, we need a heavy, stable stone. I have one like this in my photo.

To tie my stone to him, that's the pattern that fits him:

Bend the wire so that each mushroom is well kept on the rock.

Having placed a crocheted meadow on a stone, pierce the wire through.
