Brooch Dandelion

The size is about 6 cm.

Essential materials:
For dandelion:
- smooth yarn of the same thickness:
Colours: beige, white, green
White fluffy yarn
For ladybug:
- thin yarn
Colours: red, black

- a hook;
- filler;
- embroidery threads. Colours: black, brown, white.
- needle.

Abbreviations:

ch – chain
st - stitch
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in 1 st)
dec – decrease (single crochet two stitches together)

3 in 1 - 3 sc in 1 loop

Dandelion
Start with beige yarn. 4 ch
1 rnd. From the second loop from hook: 2 sc, 3 in 1, along the other side of the chain: 1 sc, inc (8)
2 rnd. inc, 1 sc, 3 inc, 1 sc, 2 inc (14)
3 rnd. 14 sc
4 rnd. Into the back loop only: 7 dec
Add a piece of filler. Cut off the thread, pull off the loops. Hide the tip.

Fasten white yarn to loops of the 4th round.
5 rnd. Into the front loop only: 1 sc, inc, 1 sc, (1 sc, inc)х3 times, 1 sc, (1 sc, inc)х2 times (20)

6 rnd. 2 sc, inc, 1 sc, (2 sc, inc)х3 times, 1 sc, (2 sc, inc)х2 times (26)

Cut off the white yarn, fasten. Turn the detail on the wrong side to yourself. Attach white fluffy yarn.

Cut off, fasten, hide the tip.

Turn the detail on front side to yourself, combing the fluffy part of flower.

Embroider short stitches with black thread in 3 additions, look at the photo.
Embroider long stitches with black thread in 1 addition, look at the photo. Embroider with brown and white thread on the same principle. Embroider black points in the middle of flower.

Ladybug
Start with black yarn
1 rnd. 5 sc in Magic Ring
2 rnd. 5 sc, change yarn to red

4-5 rnd. 10 sc
6 rnd. 5 dec (5)
Add a piece of filler. Cut off the thread, pull off the loops. Hide the tip.

Embroider the strip and points on wings with black thread. Embroider the eyes with white thread.

Leaf
Crochet with green yarn. 2 ch

Further crochet all leaf with sl st, in the corners of leaf make picot with 2 ch.

Cut off the thread, fasten, hide the tip.
Sew the stemlet to the seamy side of the flower, sew the edges of the leaf to the front side.

Outline the brooches on the paper, cut the pattern. Transfer it to the felt, cut the back. Sew or glue. Sew the fastener.

Sit a ladybug on a dandelion.
Brooch is ready!
