Easter basket with chamomile

Materials:
- cotton yarn of the same thickness (i have 100g - 250 m) :
Colours: light green, green, white, red, black, yellow.
- a hook;
- hollow fiber;
- a needle;
- sewing threads.

Abbreviations:

ch – chain
st - stitch
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet

hdc – half double crochet

tr - treble crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in 1 st)
dec – decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
(...) x N times – repeat instructions in brackets N times

Basket
Crochet with any colour. I crochet with light green melange.

Cut the thread, fasten.

Grass
Work with green yarn.
43 ch.
1 rnd. From the second loop from hook 42 sc

Crochet a leaf of medium length.
9 ch, from the second loop from hook 2 sl st, 3 sc, 3 hdc, skip 1 loop, 2 sl st.

Crochet short leaf.
7 ch.
From the second loop from hook 2 sl st, 2 sc, 2 hdc, skip 1 loop, 2 sl st.

Crochet long leaf.
11 ch.
From the second loop from hook 2 sl st, 4 sc, 4 hdc, skip 1 loop, 2 sl st.
Alternate leaves in any order. Crochet leaves to the end of the chain. Cut the thread, fasten, leave a tip for sewing.

Attach the grass to the basket, sew the bottom edge to the 8th round and the leaves along the entire length.

Big chamomile
(5 ch, from the third loop from hook 3 hdc)х 7 times.
Close the crochet in a circle. Slightly pull the middle.

Small chamomile
(4 ch, from the third loop from hook 2 hdc)х 6 times.
Close the crochet in a circle. Slightly pull the middle.

Middle of the flower
Work with yellow yarn.
1 rnd. 6 sc in Magic Ring
Cut the thread, fasten.

Sew daisies to the basket. Sew yellow middles to flowers.

Basket handle
42 ch. Attach a thin wire the same length bent in half. In its loop crochet 1 fixing sc. Look at the photo.

Further crochet 41 hdc, capturing the loops of the chain and wire. The wire is inside the detail.

Cut the thread, leave the tip for sewing. Twist a basket handle in a spiral. Sew to the basket.

Leaves
Work with green yarn.
(6 ch. From the second loop from hook 1 sl st, 1 hdc, 1 tr, 1 hdc, 1 sc) х 2 times
Cut the thread, fasten.

Decorate basket handle with leaves and chamomile.

Ladybug
Work with black yarn.
1 rnd. 6 sc in Magic Ring
2 rnd. 6 inc (12)
3 rnd. 12 sc
4 rnd. Into the back loops only: (dec)х 6 times
Add hollow fiber. Cut the thread, pull off the loops.

Wings
Work with red yarn.
1 rnd. 5 sc in Magic Ring, ch, turn (5)
2 rnd. 5 sc, ch, turn (5)
3 rnd. 5 sc
Cut the thread, fasten.

Sew the wings to body. Embroider specks and eyes.

Decorate basket with ladybugs.
Easter basket is ready.
