MATERIALS
Metal can (diameter 6,5 cm, 7 cm high) cotton yarn in different colors
(e.g. Schachenmayr Catania 125m/50g),
crochet hook 3mm or whichever is appropriate for the yarn
ABBREVIATIONS
Ch =chain
St= stitch
Sc=single crochet
Hdc= half double crochet
Scbp=single crochet back post
Scfp=single crochet front post
Rnd= round
dec = decrease stitch (two single crochets together)
inc = increase stitch (two single crochets into one stitch)

INSTRUCTIONS
The work is begun with a circular medallion on the bottom.
BOTTOM
6 sc into Magic Ring
Rnd 1: inc 6 times (12 sts)
Rnd 2: *sc in next st, inc* (18 sts)
Rnd 3: *sc in each of next 2 sts, inc* (24 sts)
Rnd 4: *sc in each of next 3 sts, inc* (30 sts)
Rnd 5: *sc in each of next 4 sts, inc* (36 sts)
Rnd 6: *sc in each of next 5 sts, inc* (42 sts)
Rnd 7: *sc in each of next 6 sts, inc* (48 sts)
Work in sc´s until the desired diameter of the bottom is achieved.

Scbp worked in each of the next sc around.
Continue working in the round until desired height is achieved.
POCKET (2x)
Cast on 16 sts. Work 10 rows in sc´s.
Crochet 1 round in sc´s all around the pocket.
Sew pockets on the can using contrasting color yarn.
Change the color.
Scbp worked in each of the next sc around.
Crochet in the round until the bottom is reached.
This will be the inside part of the can cover.
Scfp worked in each of the next sc around
BOTTOM
*dec, sc in each of next 6 sts*
*dec, sc in each of next 5 sts*
*dec, sc in each of next 4 sts*

Cast off.

Decorate as desired.
