Things for Men

Hello dear sellers, why are there actually no, or only very few, patterns here for men's items?

Well,
we didn’t really want to discriminate against anyone here,
but it does seem that women are in the majority,
and that naturally influences the selection of patterns available.

There are certainly men who enjoy crocheting and knitting too.
But not many of them have found their way here to Crazypatterns yet.

That will come in time — I’m firmly convinced that more men will
join in here soon and that there will be more patterns for men before long.
After all, even as a man, you can always use a nice, warm sweater.
Or a scarf or something like that.

Hello everyone :-) @Muetzekatze, I think ehrkevonkoby didn’t mean patterns so that men can crochet, but patterns for men’s things :-)) Women should still do the crocheting, right? But I think there are one or two men who have taught themselves the art of crochet. I’d really like to see that sometime. It would be especially funny to watch a muscleman crocheting :-)) I have seen a few patterns for men’s things here after all. @Ehrkevonkoby, just take a look in the Crochet categories and then Men.

Back in the day, it was exclusively men who knitted :-) Knitting socks and rugs was a purely male occupation

But she’s right—there should be more patterns for men; I’m already working on some myself ;-)
