Free Knitting Pattern for a Beanie

Dear creators, Natalija, ThordisDesign, and everyone else, could you please provide a free knitting pattern for a beanie? I’m afraid I can’t pay, but I’d really love to have a beanie.

Why don’t you take a look online? You’re sure to find a free pattern there. You’ll just have to spend a little time searching and probably make some compromises, but you can definitely find free patterns.

However, this is primarily a sales platform, and the patterns are little extras from the sellers. I already explained this to you once in the other thread, but I can describe it in a bit more detail: A pattern often takes days to create, because first you have to come up with the design and make a test piece by crocheting or knitting it, then you go looking for materials, crochet or knit the piece, take lots of photos that need to be edited and compiled, and write up the pattern. You might even make the design in different color variations. Finally, you recreate the project one last time following the finished pattern to make sure everything is really in order—and only then can you list it. All of this takes patience, time, and, last but not least, materials.

If someone posts something like this for free, be happy—and thank them for the effort they put in :-)
But there are also sellers who try to make a living from this, so you should keep that in mind as well.
 

If money is that tight, you might want to see if you can find a ready-made hat on sale.
Even if you find a free pattern, you’ll still have to pay for the yarn, and you’ll also need knitting needles or crochet hooks in the right size.

I always find myself wondering: If you’re looking for a free pattern because you don’t want to pay those few euros, how do you pay for the materials? And when people keep asking for a different free pattern every day, it just becomes more and more puzzling...

In this winter weather, you don’t need a knitting pattern for a beanie, but a sewing pattern for a rain jacket :-))) A few days ago, there was record-breaking cold somewhere in the U.S. I heard a report on the radio: “The U.S. is experiencing record-breaking cold...” and I thought they meant -50°. When they then said it was actually -13°, I had to laugh.
