Today, for
December 4, I’d like to show you a knitting pattern. Maybe for a cowl, scarf, sweater, or baby blanket? It can certainly be used in many ways.

The wrong side rows are knitted as the stitches appear. The pattern repeat is worked over 10 stitches. It is always expanded by 6 stitches.
Row 1: We knit 4 purl stitches, 2 knit stitches alternately
Row 2: Wrong side row as the stitches appear (4 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches)
Repeat rows 1 + 2
Row 5: We knit knit stitches only
Row 6: We knit purl stitches only
Row 7: The pattern is shifted by 2 stitches. We start with 1 purl stitch, 2 knit stitches, 4 purl stitches, 2 knit stitches, and so on.
Row 8: Knit the stitches as they appear
Repeat rows 7 + 8
Row 11: We knit knit stitches only
Row 12: We knit purl stitches only
Rows 13 to 22 are knitted like rows 1 to 12
I hope you have fun trying out the pattern and have a lovely Advent season.
