Things are getting cozy here in this thread: Now’s the time to make these sensationally fluffy patterns for cozy blankets, baby blankets and mermaid blankets.

@Authors,

Now it’s getting cozy! This trendy throw blanket stands out with its combination of a modern grid pattern paired with color-coordinated block stripes. It’s perfect for cozy evenings on the sofa or cool fall evenings on the patio or in the garden. Using the materials I chose, the blanket measures a comfortable 150 x 140 cm, but you can make it larger or smaller as desired—or smaller as a baby blanket, too.The pattern is described in detail over 11 pages (without a knitting chart). The cables and the flexible cast-off are also explained in detail in the appendix, complete with helpful pictures.

You can crochet this beautiful blanket from cozy, warm yarn

A large granny square made of double crochet, chain stitches and slip stitches. You decide the size of the blanket yourself - small for a baby or large for a cozy corner on the sofa.

It is finished with a border row of crab stitches. The pattern is described in detail and is therefore also suitable for beginners. You will also find a crochet chart if you prefer to work from that.

Here you’ll find the pattern for the "Big Granny" cuddle blanket

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and provides step-by-step instructions on how you—even as a beginner with basic skills—can crochet this wonderful blanket. Crochet charts are included for the blanket and all appliqués.

This baby blanket with knitted-in hearts is made from very soft merino wool and has knitted-in hearts. A lovely Christmas gift for a baby, where they can snuggle up really warm and soft.

Difficulty level: easy for anyone who has knitted before.

You just have to love these cute desert dwellers...

Why not bring your very own meerkat home as a cozy blanket?
The finished blanket measures 60x70 cm and is crocheted using the Tunisian crochet technique.

It doesn’t get any fluffier than this! Can you see the fine light blue and white fluffy fibers? I love these wonderfully soft, fluffy baby blankets because they’re so cozy, and I haven’t found anything softer yet. I love giving them as gifts for the birth of a new baby :-)

You can easily knit them yourself. And if you like, you can add a crocheted border.

I hope you enjoy this project — Ina

Timeless Baby Blanket Made of Merino Wool

If you’d like something even warmer than the fluffy blanket just presented, go for this one made of pure merino wool. Merino wool is simply unbeatable as a material for a warm baby blanket. It keeps little ones cozy, regulates temperature, and is breathable. It’s very soft and gentle on babies’ delicate skin. And parents will be happy to know that it’s machine washable.

The knitting pattern is also very well suited for beginners. You’ll find all further information on materials and size, as well as the pattern itself, by clicking on the title.

I hope you enjoy the pattern — Ina

"African Flowers" Baby or Children’s Blanket

Need a special gift for a new arrival? Then this colorful crocheted blanket might be just the thing.

You can choose any colors you like, and the size of the blanket is adjustable. You can make it for a stroller, a crib, or as a play blanket. It’s easy to crochet even for beginners, though it does take some hard work and patience to finish.

You’ll find more information by clicking on the title.

I hope you enjoy this pattern. Yours, Ina

Crawl Blanket – Farm Animals

A special blanket for children of all ages who love animals and farms.
Measuring a generous 125x190 cm, it offers plenty of space for crawling or cuddling.
The size also works great as a bedspread for a child’s bed.

The pattern is easy to understand, even for beginners.

Crochet pattern for a blanket

The pattern was written for a blanket measuring 84 x 67 cm. I used Katia Mississippi 3 yarn, 210 m yardage, hook size 3.5. The amounts used were 150 g turquoise, 100 g white, and 100 g gray.

Of course, this blanket can also be crocheted with other yarns and in any desired size. In the pattern, I have specified the required number of stitches per pattern repeat so you can customize the blanket.

The pattern is presented both in writing and with a crochet chart. Many pictures supplement the pattern. You should know single crochet, double crochet, chain stitches, and half double crochet; then this pattern will be no problem for you.

You can find the pattern here
