Fall can come with this pretty vest featuring figure-flattering vertical stripes. Simply wear it over a shirt and it will keep you nice and warm. The vest is knitted from bouclé cotton, but it can also be made with any other cotton yarn. The specified size fits 40 to 42, but it can easily be adjusted to other sizes by using thinner or thicker yarn.

If you have some knitting experience and the usual basic skills, you can make this vest easily with the knitting pattern.

This poncho is knitted from sock yarn and will keep you nice and warm on cool days. Since it isn’t very long, it leaves your hands free and lets you move comfortably. It has buttons at the front, making it quite versatile.

Easy for beginners with the usual basic skills to make.

The baby needs to be bundled up warm, too, when it gets chilly. This jacket and hat were knitted from soft sock yarn. Both fit sizes 62 to 80, so for several months.

If you have some knitting experience, you can easily make this set. The pattern chart and all other details are included in the pattern.

There is also a matching pair of pants in the same size—knitted with the same yarn and in the same pattern.

Note: All 3 pieces are available together in my shop as a value set.

This colorful jacket with a hood and pockets is just the thing for toddlers to play outside in the fall. It is knitted from merino wool, so it’s cuddly warm. The pattern describes sizes 92-104. It is knitted with raglan from the top down and will fit for a while as the child grows.

All steps and techniques are clearly explained in the pattern. However, knitting experience is definitely needed. The pattern is written in a printer-friendly format.

Toddlers need to be dressed warmly and comfortably outdoors now in the fall. These leggings meet all those needs, and you can also knit them with sock yarn. They are one of my granddaughter’s favorite pieces of clothing.

Difficulty level: intermediate
Everything is explained well in the pattern, with photos too.

The leggings grow with your child for a while and fit sizes 86 to 98.

Are you looking for a pretty decoration for fall? Then put together a seasonal table with cute flower children. The little dolls are about 12 cm tall. There is chenille wire in the limbs, so you can pose the flower children in different positions.
To crochet them, leftover yarn in the corresponding colors is enough (I used Catania cotton yarn), a 2.5 mm crochet hook, some wire, and craft stuffing.
Here you’ll find an autumnal selection:
 Sunflower

 Fly agaric

 Chestnut

 Pumpkin

When you can decorate with such a cute squirrel, saying goodbye to summer isn’t so hard anymore! So get started right away and crochet it yourself! You’ll need reddish-brown cotton yarn and eyelash yarn in the same color, a 2.5 mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, and safety eyes.
And of course the crochet pattern — you can find it here!

What’s that rustling over there?
The two hedgehogs have already made themselves cozy in the pile of leaves and are ready for fall!

Wouldn’t you like to crochet a couple of these cute prickly little creatures too? With their big eyes, they look absolutely adorable peeking out from their pile.

Don’t worry, they won’t prick you.
Their bodies are made of cotton, and their quills are made of brushed sock yarn. This is a great way to use up your leftover cotton and sock yarn!
You’ll find all the detailed information in the description!

To make it easier to put on, the pullover closes at the back with a button.

Do you like the pullover? Here you can find the pattern as well as other color suggestions

It’s hat season again

My knitting pattern for the “Jax” beanie is available in 8 sizes—from the very smallest up to adults. Why not go for a matching dad-and-son look?

The pattern is written in detail, and if you already have a little practice with a set of double-pointed needles and knit and purl stitches, this hat is easy to knit even for beginners. I knitted my hats using yarn with a yardage of about 120 m.

For the knitters among you: The “Blue Lagoon” sweater is wonderfully light and perfect for late summer days when it starts to get cool again in the evenings. You can also wear it into fall and even winter, because the stretchy lace pattern allows you to layer blouses, thicker shirts, and thinner shirts underneath without adding bulk. That way, you’ll have a sweater you can wear almost all year round!
The sweater can be knitted in sizes 36–40 or 42–46. I used 350 g of sock yarn (Jawoll Magic) for this.

Fly Agaric Egg Cozy Crochet Pattern
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

Fall is fast approaching, and warm breakfast eggs need a little hat too so they don’t cool down. The fun fly agaric egg cozies will put a smile on your face first thing in the morning and are also great as fall decor. What you need:
  • approx. 15 g yarn (ideally, use yarn made from 100% cotton; this makes the egg cozies nice and sturdy. Of course, you can also use any other yarn) in white and red, suitable for a 2 mm crochet hook. Leftover yarn in green (also suitable for a 2 mm hook).
  • Darning needle and scissors
  • A little stuffing for the mushroom
  • 2 mm crochet hook.
  • Safety eyes (6 mm or smaller)
  • stitch marker
Length: 9-page crochet pattern with lots of pictures.

Difficulty level: Easy, but you should have crocheted an amigurumi or something similar before and have a good command of the basic techniques (double crochet, half double crochet, single crochet, slip stitches, color changes, increasing and decreasing stitches...)

Cuddly soft yet gossamer-light, the knitted stole Fanyamar is.

With a little trick, this beautiful stole can be transformed into a poncho, making it an ideal accessory for fall.

Fanyamar was designed for lace yarns, because that’s where its delicate, airy character shows to best advantage. Even so, the stole also looks dreamily beautiful in thicker yarns, such as sock yarn. However, the wool you choose should definitely not be any thicker than that.

The stole is started at one corner with just 3 stitches. It gets its shape through regular increases and decreases. The pattern includes stitch counts for 2 different sizes.
The narrower version measures approx. 60 x 160 cm after blocking.

The pattern is 12 pages long and includes
  • a written-out version for 2 different sizes
  • knitting charts
  • schematic drawing.

This knitting pattern is suitable for:
  • ambitious beginners
  • advanced knitters
  • pros

If you want to be on trend in fall/winter 2018, the knitted Swoncho Nessa is just right.

What is a Swoncho? A Swoncho is the perfect combination of a sweater and a poncho.
Thanks to the knitted-on cuffs, it always fits perfectly and nothing can slip out of place anymore.

The Swoncho Nessa is ideal for cooler fall days.

I designed the Swoncho for sizes 40–44, but it can be customized for any size. You only need to measure the neck circumference, sleeve length, and wrist width.

The pattern for knitting the poncho includes
  • 7 pages
  • written-out instructions
  • professional and detailed computer-created charts (knitting charts)
  • a schematic drawing.
This knitting pattern is suitable for:
  • ambitious beginners
  • advanced knitters
  • pros

St. Martin’s Day with the lantern parade is also part of fall and needs to be prepared for. Here I’d like to show you a lantern that is especially suitable for little parade participants, because it is small, sturdy, and therefore easy to carry.

The approx. 21 cm small lantern is made from photo cardstock and translucent paper. It consists of 18 identical basic shapes and the lantern base. With a little experience cutting with a craft knife, the lantern is very easy to make.

Cardigan for Barbie dolls in variable lengths

Our dolls like to welcome autumn too—but for that, they need the right clothes. You can knit beautiful cardigans for them in their favorite colors. The color gradient comes straight from the ball of yarn. Take a look at my favorite model from this collection:

And this is what it looks like when worn. And if you look closely, you’ll naturally want to know: what is she wearing under the cardigan? The secret can be revealed: the flared pants and the top are made from the same light green yarn and complete the autumn ensemble. You can find the pattern for the flared pants and the top by clicking this link.

The cardigan has a variable length. So you can knit it exactly as long as you want it: short, medium, or long. You only need a few grams of yarn and size 2 knitting needles. It’s also a great way to use up your leftover yarn.

Maybe this would already make a suitable Christmas gift for your children or grandchildren? They’re sure to be happy about a new wardrobe for their dolls.

You can find more information by clicking the heading.
I hope you have lots of fun with this knitting project—yours, Ina

Felted Moccasins

Fall also brings chilly days. That means it’s time to make sure you have warm feet. Who likes being cold? With just a few grams of felting wool, you can make beautiful warm felted moccasins in favorite colors for yourselves, your children, grandchildren, or guests. In the knitting and felting pattern, I describe and show you exactly how they are made. You can make shoes in sizes 18 to 47.

You knit the shoe in one piece, then we crochet one round, and after that the washing machine takes care of the felting. For more information, please click on the heading.

I hope you enjoy this project - Yours, Ina

PS. Here I’m showing you mine in my favorite color, green. They not only look great, but are pleasantly warm, you don’t sweat in them, and the step feels nice and soft. They automatically adapt to every foot, because felt is flexible. As you can tell, I love felted shoes - there’s nothing better for slippers. You simply won’t want to take them off :-)

“Spicy Autumn” is just right for fall—still light enough, but perfect for cool mornings and evenings. It’s versatile to wear; I’ve sewn on small snaps, so it can even be worn as a poncho at a size of 67 x 165.

You’ll need 200 g of silk with a yardage of 600 m per 100 g.
The pattern is provided row by row, but is also shown in a chart.

The first month of fall is almost over! With this window decoration you can already get in the mood for October and Halloween.

The picture is made from photo cardstock and transparent paper and measures approx. 43 x 30 cm. With a little experience using a cutter and transparent paper, it can be recreated quickly and easily.
