He has gobbled up so much leftover yarn that he has become perfectly round.

Little Hedgehog Charly
- lucky charm, bag charm, keychain, fall decoration -

-- to the pattern --

This little guy is quick to crochet from a few yarn scraps and makes a great project for in between, even for beginners.
As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes step by step how you can crochet your own little hedgehog.

The little hedgehog shown used just under 20g of cotton yarn (e.g., Gründl Cotton Fun). The little guy is approx. 7cm long.

These cute door guards are fun for the whole family, but especially for children. They use up lots of leftover yarn and also make great Christmas gifts. It’ll be a wonderful surprise no one expects. :-)

Very suitable for beginners too; everything is explained in detail.

You can get the door hangers individually as an owl or a little bear in my pattern shop—or as a value pack with both together.

Finger puppets are a great project when you have small leftover cotton yarn. With this pattern you can crochet 3 jungle animals, which you can then use to bring wonderful adventures to life. In the evening before bedtime, they can even tell a little story. They also help pass the time on long car rides or in the doctor’s waiting room.
The finger puppets are quick and easy to crochet and make a welcome little gift for a household with children.

Leftover yarn also makes great bookmarks when crocheted. The Frog Prince, of course, fits especially well between the pages of a fairy tale book. All you need is some green, yellow, red, and white cotton yarn (not too thick), a 2.5 mm crochet hook, and basic crochet skills—and in no time at all, you’ll have whipped up a lovely little gift. The only thing missing is the pattern, and you can find it right here!

They are especially great as little party favors for children’s birthday parties, as small gifts, or as a thank-you. The pattern includes:
  • Eddy the Bear

  • Freddy the Frog
In no time at all, you’ll have made these three wonderful little companions with this beginner-friendly pattern.
