Help: Ruined my cotton sweater?!

Hi, I guess I wasn’t fully awake when I tried to fix the tear in my sweater… I ironed some interfacing underneath it, then tried to cover up the tear with decorative embroidery.
But, daydreaming as I was, I ironed the interfacing onto the right side…

Do you have any advice on how I can remove the interfacing? Please!
 

If it’s beyond saving, try ironing over it again—that will soften the interfacing, and you might be able to peel it off.
It works with some types of interfacing; I’ve done it before.

Hi! I was able to remove it back then with plenty of steam—just peel it off carefully. :-) So don’t let it get you down, moncheri1980 :-)

Dish soap is a great grease remover. And Vaseline is pure grease. It always works.

I think Vlieseline and Vaseline are two completely different things. But it’s still nice of you to want to help, Oksik, even though moncheri1980 isn’t as active here anymore.
