An Advent calendar to get active with!

Every day, Frau Holle's bag is filled, and a nice message can be left on the clip on the door. The doors are closed every evening, so the filling can be chosen completely spontaneously and looters have no chance.

After and before the Advent season, Frau Holle serves as winter décor.

To make it, you should be familiar with the following:
magic ring, chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochets, half double crochets, as well as increasing and decreasing stitches.

As always, the pattern is written in a beginner-friendly way without abbreviations.

With these cute gnomes and their gnome house, you can crochet an Advent calendar that’s something completely different. The gnomes (in different sizes) can be filled with lots of little gifts or even a voucher. You can then put a larger gift in the gnome house for December 24.

Children can play with it in very creative and versatile ways. For me, the gnome house is a great storage basket for yarn and other small items. Crochet hooks, for example, fit in the door at the front.

Leftover yarn can be used up brilliantly here. You can get started right away, because the gnomes also work well as a garden project.

Very suitable for beginners. Basic knowledge should be present.

Here I have an Advent calendar that can also replace an Advent wreath: Just attach four candles in the middle and perhaps decorate them with a few small fir branches, and the calendar has a double function!

This Advent calendar is made from photo cardstock and measures approx. 33.5 x 35.5 x 5.5 cm overall; the space in the middle has a diameter of approx. 17 cm. The calendar is easy to craft and simple to make with a little crafting experience.

Super-sweet Advent calendar

The calendar is made up entirely of cone-shaped bags in a fox design!
The pattern is definitely suitable for crochet beginners too and includes 12 pages with a total of 35 pictures.

Per fox, you’ll need about 5 g dark brown, 15 g white, 20 g orange (or reddish brown), and a scrap of black.

With these summery temperatures, it’s hard to believe, but it really won’t be long now until the first Advent calendar gift can be unwrapped. It’s best to start crafting and wrapping right away, then you’re guaranteed to finish in time!

This Advent calendar is made from photo cardstock and measures approx. 28 x 4.5 x 32 cm. The individual boxes measure approx. 4.5 x 4.5 x 7.8 cm, are glued in just one spot, and otherwise held together with the tuck-in tabs. The calendar is very easy to make and is also suitable for craft beginners.
