I'm making a skirt from here right now ;-)  with a fringed rainbow Bobbel. It's fun, and I've already taken (actually too much) time for it today ...

Today my little one doesn’t have any homework and doesn’t have to study for a change (you can tell the holidays are getting closer)
The housework is done, dinner’s cooked....
So, time to grab those knitting needles!
Yeah, I think I’ll get a lot done today!

I definitely won’t be home until around 10 p.m. again tonight. Let’s see what I can still get done then. Hopefully a good chunk of the shawl I’m currently working on...

I’m still at work.

But I hope to finish the second part of my vest tonight.

There isn’t much left.

Yes, I’ve knitted quite a bit on three different projects today. Things are moving along. ;-)

Today I’m starting on the unicorn keychains for my daughter’s birthday.

Yesterday, I actually picked up a UFO that’s been sitting around for ages and almost finished it. It’s a placemat—the small one for the glass or mug. The one for the plate has been done for months. Though those were just test pieces. The color doesn’t really match our dining table at all, but they were leftover yarn and exactly the material I want to use.

Tonight, my daughter wants me to finally start working on her fantasy animal. Hopefully it’ll turn out as well as the one I made for my son.
But to make sure it’s not too easy for me, it looks completely different, of course.

My little helper was a bit sluggish yesterday—or rather, busy with other things: My hiking socks have only grown by a few reinforced rows (I just learned how to do that!) and half a boomerang heel!
This morning I finished the heel, but now I finally want to start the little pants for our grandson, so the sock will only continue to grow slowly from here on.

Did you have any more productive hours?

Yeah, I’m working like crazy on my skirt—it’s already past my butt, after all. But since I’ve outgrown my “mini” days (both in age and size), I still have a few more rounds to go ;-)
