These bucket bags that you just pull closed at the top are totally in right now—people are apparently spending a lot of money on them.
Further down there are a few slightly cheaper models
Could you actually make bags like these yourself?
Is it possible to sew leather in a way that gives it that shape?
Or could you maybe crochet, knit, or knook them?

I find the bags kind of impractical because I think things might slip out of them
but if it’s trendy, then it’s just trendy :)

Actually, I wanted to ask if anyone likes these drawstring bags or maybe has sewn, crocheted, knitted, or Knooked one themselves. But I was too quick to hit the “Save Post” button.
Yeah, I know you’re not supposed to reply to your own post, but it’s just this once :)

These bags are easy to crochet, and depending on the design, you can reinforce them so they can hold quite a bit ;)

Knitting and sewing would work, too.

I’m not a huge fan of these bags myself, but kids really love them (for example, as gym bags)!

I have a crochet pattern for a bag like this in my shop. It’s a popular project—perfect for yoga, the gym, or the beach, for example.

HI, so I think the bag at the very top—the black one in leather or faux leather—is ugly. But I crochet bags and pouches all the time myself... and they’re just so practical—especially with two kids... I always put my valuables in little extra pouches that close securely and are sewn into the main bags, but diapers, wet wipes, kids’ jackets, a change of clothes, cookies, and drinks—everything gets stowed away quickly and conveniently.

I prefer zippers on a bag to one of those drawstrings.
