Weekend Plans / Start of June

I still have to study today because I have a physics test tonight, and I’ll be studying over the weekend, too, since I have a Latin test on Monday. In between, I’ll be crocheting. Tomorrow night, I’m going to the theater with my family. By then, I need to finish crocheting a triangular shawl because I really want to take it with me to the theater. But I’m almost done anyway.

I’m looking forward to the weekend—after almost half a year of a “yarn diet” (no new yarn purchases), I’ll finally be able to order some yarn—yay!!

I also need to write up some patterns, and I’ll be trying out ideas for new projects in the garden. I’m really looking forward to that.

Grilling vegetables and vegan treats is also on the agenda.

I just got back from working out, and now I’m lying on the couch, completely exhausted :-)
I still have some housework to do... and at 6 p.m., my mother-in-law is coming over to babysit. We’re celebrating our belated wedding anniversary today and going out for dinner.

Sooo, our marriage survived the weekend ;)
I have so many little odds and ends (beads, buttons, trims, pom-poms, bows, etc., etc.). By now, I’d stowed everything away so well that I sometimes didn’t even know where I’d put things anymore. That’s also because of all the space I have. Then I had an idea! Ikea has small, narrow metal cabinets, each with 6 drawers. So I went and bought four of them right away!! BUT, putting them together—let me tell you. A nightmare!! But now it’s done, and all I have to do is delve into the depths of my cabinets, drawers, and boxes—make a plan—and put everything away neatly.
That should also help me avoid buying everything twice or three times over.

Yeah, Petra, I always plan to do that too! And then something else always comes up (usually a new crochet idea!).

I feel exactly the same way as ursulapetra—I just haven’t gotten around to organizing yet. I do make an attempt every now and then, but then crocheting or knitting just ends up being more important again!
