So this morning I was waiting for my coworker. We carpool. While waiting, I crocheted a row of treble crochets and chain stitches (60 of each) and half a row of single crochets (60 stitches).
I didn’t wait long, but you have to make the most of every minute!
I’ll write about what I manage to do this evening tomorrow.
Hello Josefa
I kept knitting on my sweater this afternoon.
Just for you, I counted them up. At the moment, I have knitted exactly 2223 stitches. The lace pattern has 18 rows, and each row is knitted differently. I have 117 stitches per row, so that makes 19 rows so far.
I knit knit and purl stitches, yarn overs, pass-over decreases, and stitches together.
There will definitely be many more stitches added by this evening.
So far, 0 :-) Yesterday I finished a shawl; now I just have to weave in the ends and block it, and then I might get back to working on my sleeveless top. Would a rough estimate of the number of stitches be okay too?
I’ve already crocheted 1,440 stitches for my tunic today. I’ve added two rows to my summer pants, though I don’t know the exact number of stitches because it’s such a complex pattern with double crochets, chain stitches, crossed stitches, etc.
I can’t give you a stitch count.
I worked the following stitches: knit stitches, purl stitches, stitches worked together, yarn overs, and edge stitches.
I didn’t do any crafting today, and that’s likely to stay that way, because I was out and about all day, and now I have to take care of a finished pattern that I absolutely want to upload tomorrow. But wait: I did do a little something—I drew a Zentangle on the train that I’d like to turn into a window decoration at some point.
I knitted 1,380 stitches today. Mostly reverse stockinette stitch and a 10-cm cuff in 2 knit, 2 purl.
This was my second attempt at the first sleeve for my jacket. I hope it fits now, but I’ll have to wait until the sleeve dries.
24 rounds of 180 single crochet stitches each in the knit stitch = 4,320 stitches crocheted for my backpack. Of course, as always, with constant color changes... oops, I really was hard at work... funny how it all adds up.
What a fun idea! Unfortunately, I just discovered it, so I can only give approximate figures: This morning I knitted a gauge and pattern swatch for a scarf—that was about 600 stitches. On the drive to Zurich, my sock grew by an estimated 24 rounds—that’s 1,440 stitches—and most recently, I started a baby sweater, which adds another 576 stitches, for a total of 2,616 stitches.
I’ll count them tomorrow!
This morning before work, I fiddled around with my experiment and crocheted about 800 single crochet stitches. Then I ripped them all out again because it didn’t fit properly... so 0 stitches... ugh
Today I knitted 28 rounds of a baby sweater and 35 rounds of socks, which comes to 4,788 stitches. For the sweater, it’s mostly knit stitches and three rounds of purl stitches; for the socks, it’s knit, purl, two stitches knitted together, slip-stitch decreases, and yarn overs.
A big shout-out to everyone who got a lot done last week.
And here we go with a new round of the busy little helpers.
Who is being super productive today with crafts—and in general, beyond that too?
Who is completing a pattern (that works as a designer and as a buyer too )?
Who is getting the most done?
Who is making the most stitches? The most stitches in sewing or embroidery (is that what you call them there? )? Whose scissors are super busy crafting today?
All types of crafts are welcome to take part here.
Let's get started with a productive Wednesday. :- )
So, I plan to finish two patterns today. They’ve been sitting around as UFO patterns for a while now. I just need to take some photos, and then I’ll be all set.
To be honest, I’ve never counted stitches before. Sounds funny.
I’ve started a new project and have crocheted 14 rows so far. So far, I’ve crocheted 5,866 stitches—chain stitches, single crochets, and double crochets.
I’ll be adding a few more by tonight.
