Dear users, dear designers,
do you have enough leftover yarn? If so, that's good, because here in the thread and in the shops there are lots of leftover-yarn patterns. If you get started now, there's still time for a little Mother's Day gift and, of course, for a pretty project for the long weekend too.
Start shopping now.

@Authors,
2-3 patterns per designer are enough. Don't forget the link and image, as well as the usual information.

Quickly whip up a few flowers for Mom using leftover yarn. Even a beginner can do this. And with this pattern, you’ll turn the Mother’s Day table into a sea of flowers.

For the flowers, all you need is a size 2.5 crochet hook and lots of colorful leftover yarn.

You’ll be crocheting chain stitches, single crochet stitches, half double crochet stitches, and double crochet stitches.

How about a unicorn bag charm for Mother’s Day? After all, all girls love unicorns, and moms are (at heart) still a little bit girls too :)

The pattern requires only a small amount of leftover yarn and is finished in no time.
The very best part: it’s free!

A pretty little crocheted door wreath that you can conjure up from a few bits of leftover yarn—it's a great last-minute project for Mother's Day!

The small wreath is only 12 cm in diameter, making it wonderful as wall or window decor, too. Besides leftover yarn in white and shades of pink, all you need is a crochet hook (2.5 mm), a small Styrofoam wreath, and possibly a few beads.

Knitting pattern_ Basket for All Sorts

    Go to the pattern!

A basket that can be used for any purpose!
The great thing about it is that its size is variable, which means
you can choose the size yourself
(the pattern explains exactly how to do this).
Because of the knitting method, you don't need glue or plastic for stabilization.
It is always a very welcome little gift, with the advantage that it can't gather dust because you can wash it or simply fold it up
and store it temporarily in a drawer.

Material:
Leftover yarn of all kinds, even if it's only 5 g.
Knitting needles size 7
Silk ribbon

Pattern:
PDF format
The pattern is designed so that everyone can knit the basket.
All steps are described in detail and also documented with pictures.

If you can gather around 200 grams of colorful cotton leftovers, then this closable and foldable crochet bag is just right for you. It’s not hard to crochet, and if you’re diligent, you can even finish it by Mother’s Day. Have fun with it

If you’re not quite sure how to wrap those diamonds for Mom, we’ve got you covered. A little knitted pouch is perfect for the job. A few leftover bits of sock yarn (preferably one of them red), a set of double-pointed needles, and you’re all set. You’ll easily have time to finish it before Mother’s Day.

You can find the pattern here.

The decorations/coasters
" little snowflakes " with a diameter of approx. 10 cm are very well suited for the Christmas season and create a cozy atmosphere. They can be nicely placed on the festive table as coasters for candle holders or used as door and window decorations. Not much yarn is needed to make one snowflake, so these can be crocheted from leftover yarn. They are quick to crochet.

Glass coasters "Summer Color" crochet patternTo keep glasses with cool drinks from leaving water stains in summer, these coasters are very practical. The coasters are a perfect fit for summer, hot days, or a party. Different summer colors make the table in the garden or on the terrace look beautifully decorated. Not much yarn is needed to make them, so these can be crocheted from leftover yarn. They are quick to crochet.
