The cheerful seahorse Hippy stands out with its shimmering color gradient with glitter. Crocheted with sock yarn held double, it will be about 24 cm long. Inside the body and tail there is pipe cleaner wire, so the tail can be nicely curled.
Hippy is crocheted with single crochet stitches. The increases and decreases are specified precisely round by round.

Why not make a pretty, matching gift package yourself? For example, this colorful gift bag.

The bag is made from cardstock and measures approximately 19 x 18.5 x 8 cm. Reinforcing elements make it particularly sturdy, so it can hold even slightly heavier gifts. The bag is very easy to make and well suited for beginners.

In my shop stjerne61, the maritime crochet patterns continue in May.

Maritime Tissue Box

A lovely cover for simple tissue boxes, quick and easy to make.

The pattern is, as always, beginner-friendly and written without abbreviations; it is crocheted with chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, and half double crochet.

Don’t give sniffly noses a chance—crochet yourself a tissue box cover. Even beginners can manage it with no problems :-)

...............................................................

Smutje’s Potholders / Tunisian crochet

The maritime style turns your kitchen into a galley, because even a ship’s cook needs little helpers like these.

These classic blue-and-white potholders are crocheted in Tunisian simple stitch. This great crochet technique is described in a practice section in the pattern, or just take a look at my blog post about it, "Crochet in Reverse"

Both patterns are beginner-friendly and written without abbreviations.

The game "Circle and Cross" (also known as "Tic-Tac-Toe" or "Three in a Row") is designed to be taken along to play with children on sunny days in the garden or at the playground. For the game board and pieces, you will need: • Maxima 100% polyacrylic in dark green and pink • 1.5 mm crochet hook It works up quickly, has an easy difficulty level, and should not be a problem for a beginner. For the game board (approx. 17 x 17 cm) and the game pieces (5 circles, approx. 5 cm in diameter, and 5 squares, approx. 5 x 5 cm), 42 g of polyacrylic was used. If you have any questions, I’ll be happy to help, and I hope you enjoy crocheting!

Do you also find strawberries especially beautiful and want to enjoy their look for as long as possible? Then you’re sure to love this tea light holder!

The holder is made of cardstock, is approx. 10 cm tall, and can also serve as a hiding place or an original gift package, as its hollow interior has room for a few small items. With a little crafting experience, this tea light holder is very easy to make yourself.

For those who’d like to try the Tunisian crochet technique, I’ve designed this shopping bag. It’s crocheted using the basic Tunisian stitch and then folded like Japanese origami. The color gradient adds an interesting touch. The bag can be crocheted in any size.

Requirements:
  • chain stitches,
  • single crochet,
  • slip stitches,
  • double crochet
Materials:
  • 200–250 g cotton yarn with a color gradient
  • approx. 30 g of cotton yarn in a contrasting color
  • 1 Tunisian crochet hook, 4.0 mm
  • 1 standard 3.0 mm crochet hook
  • 1 thick sewing needle

Some people are already counting down the days: The World Cup is coming up again soon! Even Panda Pauli is already really excited and is passing the time by playing soccer .

Quickly crochet a few keychains for your fan group! It’s quick and easy. The 8-page, illustrated pattern explains each step in detail, so even beginners can make a Pauli. Pauli is 11 cm tall and can be crocheted from leftover yarn. I recommend cotton yarn with a length of 125 m/50 g (e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr).

Here’s some perfect packaging for a small, sweet gift.

This chocolate box has room for four chocolates, each about 3.5 cm in diameter. The box is made of cardstock and measures approximately 8.2 x 4 cm. Without dividers, you can also use it for other small gifts.

Click here for the knitting pattern for the striped pants for teddy bears and dolls.

Your teddy bear or your doll (or your grandchildren’s and children’s) is sure to be delighted with a new, colorful pair of striped pants for summer. Even beginners (with basic skills) can knit these up very easily and quickly. The best thing to do is make them for all your dolls and teddy bears right away.

The knitting pattern is written so that the pants fit teddy bears or dolls about 40 cm tall. But the measurements can be adjusted very easily, both in the length of the legs, the overall length, and the width. You can even make them fit small babies.

By the way, it’s a great opportunity to finally use up lots of leftover yarn.

The pattern contains no abbreviations, and there are two copies—one with photos and one without, so your printer will still have plenty of ink left.
