Ida’s dad, the merman, is a really sweet & funny guy who quickly forgives all his daughter’s pranks ♥

He, too, is crocheted with cotton yarn, blended yarn, and fluffy wool and stands a full 32 cm tall.

No time for a vacation?

Bring that beach feeling into your home with this door wreath; this decoration helps ease your wanderlust.

Crochet pattern / Stranded Door Wreath

For the wreath shown, you need the following skills:
  • chain, slip stitch, and single crochet stitches
  • half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet
  • increasing and decreasing stitches
  • magic ring
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This little summer bag is perfect for a trip to the beach; it has room for the essentials, and you’ll feel that beach vibe already while crocheting it.
Crochet pattern: Anchor Bag
The maritime anchor motif is crocheted in knit stitch using the tapestry technique. The knit stitch is explained in the pattern and isn’t hard at all.
Both patterns are beginner-friendly and written without abbreviations.
Little mermaid Marina is brand new in my shop. She loves playing deep down in the sea with the colorful fish, but every now and then she comes up to the surface too.
Marina is a wonderful summer decoration. Sometimes, though, she just wants to cuddle.
Marina will be about 40 cm tall. She is not difficult to crochet, but you should have crocheted a few amigurumi before. The bobble pattern for the fishtail is explained in detail in the pattern.
Materials needed:
1 skein Rico Baby Classic in skin tone
1 skein Rico Baby Glitz in mint
1 skein Rico Baby Glitz in aqua
1 skein mohair yarn in blue
Leftovers of thin cotton yarn in white, silver, light pink, pink, hot pink
Crochet hooks 2.5 mm and 2.0 mm
Craft stuffing for filling
1 thick yarn needle for sewing together
1 sharp needle for embroidering the face
Embroidery floss in black and pink
2 pieces of chenille wire, about 35 cm long
Here is the pattern!
You’ll need at least a small bag when you go to the beach to carry your essentials—bikini, sunscreen, towel, and some change for ice cream. How about a bag that matches the ocean? The fish are included.
For this, you’ll need cotton yarn—preferably blue and yellow—with a yardage of 125m per 50g, a 3mm circular needle, and a matching crochet hook for the handles. The fish are shown in a knitting chart.
And you can find the pattern here.
