It's the weekend

This weekend is all about Stjerne the cat again—he’s still on a lot of medicine and has to inhale several times a day. We picked up a device from the vet yesterday; it’s a total hassle.

Tonight we’re heading to an Italian restaurant, and after that, we’ll be watching loads of TV—and doing some crafts on the side, of course. Tomorrow we’ll put the summer tires on the car, and Sunday is for the family, as always.

My weekend is all about the garden. After moving the turtles from their winter quarters to the greenhouse yesterday in cold, rainy weather, today I’ll be fixing up the enclosure and preparing quite a few things in the garden for growing vegetables. With blue skies and sunshine, this is going to be a really great weekend.

It’s raining here. We’re about to go shopping. I need fabric (I’m on a “yarn diet,” after all). My husband thinks a “fabric diet” would make sense, too… But to use up my fabric stash, I need other materials so I can create something beautiful… It’s only logical. :-)

Then we’ll head to a garden supply store, a home improvement store, etc.

And then at some point, I’ll be able to crochet again.

For us, this weekend is all about the kids. We’re heading out in a bit—my son has a youth soccer game. Maybe afterward it’ll be warm enough to sit in the garden (we have shade there in the afternoon). Tomorrow is my daughter’s First Communion, so we’ll be out celebrating all day.

  The cleaning and shopping are already done; the crochet hook is calling, but unfortunately the iron is louder.

I’m back from my first campervan trip in absolutely beautiful weather. :-)
It was really strange to be offline for a day and a half, without CP...

Petra, I read that you have turtles—how lovely! I used to have some too, and I really missed them after I moved. Luckily, I was able to give them into good hands, because a friend of mine also had four of them.
