Dear users, dear authors,
since the forum game has gotten long and you have to scroll forever, I’m opening a new thread for it here by request.
You can read Part 1 here:
The new forum game: Join in now.

This is the text so far
The leftover yarn is waiting in the basket,
is there a nicer place to ask it?

They beam at me with their beautiful colors,
and now I really don’t know where to begin.

I simply grab my crochet hook,
then ride my bike over to the neighbor for a look.

The neighbor is amazed, just as I expected,
after all, I’d only recently warned him about the hook!

Oh dear, and now the yarn addiction has caught him too.
And oh no, the favorite magazine with the pattern is already sold out!

No problem, we’ll just take a look online at CrazyPatterns,
the selection is huge—and the right thing is sure to be there.

An Easter nest—that would be something!
Or rather an Easter bunny?

Maybe I’d prefer a colorful Easter egg,
and off we go—the searching begins.

A colorful Easter wreath would be really great too,
slowly but surely the wishlist is getting quite full.

And Easter is only a few weeks away!
Oh—I just remembered, we need new socks too.

Oh, forget socks! My table needs a new decoration,
bring on the cute little chickens!

And then egg cozies and little flowers for the table,
oh, how wonderful my Easter breakfast table will be.

Now I still need an Easter arrangement,
quick, a look in the cupboard for a leftover check.

Pink, green, yellow, white: exactly what I’m looking for,
or would it be better to crochet a shawl with those colors?

A very colorful stole would surely be a hit too,
I have enough yarn, so bring it on.

Of course, a colorful stole for the Easter walk,
and the Easter bunny pulls up on a motor scooter.

I wonder what the bunny will bring me this year?
I hope I manage...

...to convince him gently and quietly
to bring me new yarn, heaps of it...
and secretly too, very softly and quietly.

But then my basket would be too small.
Ah, I know, I’ll make a new one that can hold a lot.

By the time I have all that, Easter will be over,
but that’s all the same to me.

Being part of it is everything, I’ll get started now...
and simply use the yarn that was meant for the thick scarf.

Quickly bought some more yarn for the new Easter project...
Oh, how cool, what else have I discovered there?
