We’ve already written a Christmas poem for CP together. Now it’s time for the Easter poem. It has to be related to knitting, crocheting, sewing, or crafts and fit CP.

Everyone writes one line and copies the other lines before adding their own.

I’ll start (please copy the following line before continuing):

Easter Poem for crazypatterns

The leftover yarn is waiting in the basket—
is there a more beautiful place?

They beam at me in their beautiful colors,
and now I don’t even know where to start!

The leftover yarn is waiting in the basket,
is there a lovelier place?

Its beautiful colors are shining at me,
and right now I just don’t know where to begin.

I simply grab my crochet hook,
and bike over to my neighbor’s with it.

A colorful Easter wreath would be wonderful too; slowly but surely, the wish list is getting quite full.

And there are only a few weeks left until Easter!
Oh—I’ve just remembered, we need new socks.

Oh, nonsense—socks! My table needs a new decoration
. Bring on the cute little chickens!

And then little bonnets for the eggs and flowers for the table.
Oh, how lovely it will be, my Easter breakfast table.

Now all I need is an Easter arrangement.
A quick look in the cupboard for a leftovers check.
Pink, green, yellow, white: exactly what I’m looking for
. Or would I be better off crocheting a shawl in those colors?

A really colorful stole would definitely be a hit too—I’ve got enough yarn, so let’s do it.

Of course—a colorful stole
for the Easter walk, and the Easter Bunny comes rolling up on a scooter.

The leftover yarn is waiting in the basket—
is there a lovelier place?

It’s glowing at me with its beautiful colors,
and right now I don’t even know where to start.

I simply grab my crochet hook and
cycle over to my neighbor’s.

My neighbor is amazed—I had a feeling he would be,
after all, I only just warned him about the hook!

Oh dear, now he’s caught the yarn addiction too.
And oh no, my favorite magazine with the pattern is already sold out!

Never mind—we’ll just take a look at CrazyPatterns online;
the selection is huge—and I’m sure we’ll find just the right thing.

An Easter nest—that would be lovely!
Or maybe an Easter bunny instead?

Or perhaps a colorful Easter egg instead
and off it goes—the search begins.

A colorful Easter wreath would be wonderful too; slowly but surely, the wish list is getting quite full.

And there are only a few weeks left until Easter!

The leftover yarn is waiting in the basket,
could there be a nicer place?

They beam at me with their beautiful colors,
and now I really don't know where to start.

I simply grab my crochet hook,
and pedal over to my neighbor with it.

The neighbor is amazed, just as I thought,
after all, I only recently warned him about the hook!

Oh dear, and now yarn fever has caught him too.
And oh no, the favorite magazine with the pattern is already sold out!

Never mind, we'll just take a look online at CrazyPatterns,
the selection is huge—and the right thing is sure to be there.

An Easter basket—that would be something!
Or rather an Easter bunny?

Maybe a colorful Easter egg after all,
and off we go—the searching begins.

A colorful Easter wreath would be really lovely too,
slowly but surely the wish list is getting quite full.

And Easter is only a few weeks away!
Oh—I just remembered, we need new socks too.

Oh, forget socks! My table needs a new decoration,
bring on the cute little chickens!

And then little caps for the eggs and flowers for the table,
oh, how wonderful it will be, my Easter breakfast table.

Now it still needs an Easter arrangement,
quick, a look in the cupboard for the leftover check.

Pink, green, yellow, white: exactly what I'm looking for,
or would I be better off crocheting a shawl with those colors?

A really colorful stole would surely be a hit too,
I've got enough yarn, so bring it on.

Of course, for the Easter walk, a colorful stole,
and the Easter bunny pulls up on a scooter.

I wonder what the bunny will bring me this year?
I hope that I manage...

...to convince him gently and quietly
