Table runner / Cafe Time

A lovely alternative to a table runner or tablecloth. It looks great on any coffee table. It is crocheted with Schachenmayr Catania Originals. My table band measures 110 cm x 17 cm, but it can be enlarged very easily. Crochet skills: chain stitches, slip stitches, and double crochet. The pattern is very detailed (written instructions, with pictures and a counting chart) Ideal for beginners too!

These fruit coasters are ideal for beginners because all you need to know is how to work single crochet in spiral rounds . The fruit patterns are created simply by choosing the right colors.

The hole in the center is large enough for a straw to fit through: so you can also use the coasters as handy glass lids in the summer to keep pesky insects or leaves from falling into your drink. If you crochet the coasters a bit larger, you can also make beautiful pot holders for the kitchen using this pattern.

To crochet these coasters, you’ll need just a few pieces of leftover yarn in matching colors. I used Catania by Schachenmayr (125 m/50 g, 100% cotton), worked with two strands, along with a 3.5 mm crochet hook.

These cute bunnies with their colorful little tails are incredibly versatile. Whether on Easter branches, as a table decoration, in an Easter basket, on a
keychain, or attached to a small gift—they’re always a
colorful and charming eye-catcher.

Great for beginners and for using leftover yarn. Crocheted very quickly (for experienced crocheters: about 10 minutes per bunny)

You’ll receive a detailed PDF pattern (10 pages) with text and
over 30 step-by-step photos. The pattern also includes a print-friendly
version without the step-by-step photos.

The models were crocheted using Catania yarn and a 2.5 mm hook.

The bunnies are 7 cm tall, and the carrots are 5 cm long.

I would definitely trust beginners to make this stole as well. You don’t need any special knitting skills for it, except knit and purl stitches. You can use any yarn you like. My original is made of cotton with a yardage of 170 m per 100 g, using 3 skeins.

You can find the pattern here.

A video tip for anyone who wants to knit with a set of double-pointed needles:

Casting on with a set of double-pointed needles—a special casting-on technique

To complement my sock-knitting patterns and tutorials , I have a trick for anyone who wants to cast on stitches with a set of double-pointed needles and distribute them evenly across 4 needles —a trick that keeps the stitches from twisting:

Click here for the blog post: Casting On with a Set of Double-Pointed Needles – Trick

Does this sound familiar? You want to knit socks, hats, or something similar that requires a set of double-pointed needles because you can’t knit in the round with a circular needle any longer. The cast-on stitches are usually distributed across 4 needles. The problem: the individual needles kind of hang down, dangle, twist, and get tangled up—what a mess. This often results in twisted stitches. The solution: a special cast-on method for a set of double-pointed needles.

This makes projects with a set of double-pointed needles fun.

"Peek-a-Boo" translates roughly as "peekaboo"
A lovely name for this style!

This sleeveless vest is held together by a button, which also stabilizes the collar.
In the right quality, it can be worn all year round—and it perks up any boring outfit in no time!
The "pearls" of the pattern used look as if they are wrapped.
This impression is created because the stitch groups are worked over two stitches
—simple, yet not boring.

Once you've crocheted the pattern repeat, you'll have the hang of it—
even beginners will enjoy this pattern!

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet process.

In addition, a template with an integrated diagram is included.

how this vest can easily be adjusted to any size.
