The circus is coming to town!
Can you already see the colorful  circus wagons? They’re rolling through the streets and advertising the circus performance.
Just look at everything there is to see:

A funny clown (finger puppet),
lots of exotic animals:
  wild lions,

cheeky monkeys,


graceful giraffes,

skillful seals

and even a dancing polar bear!
With the featured patterns, you can crochet yourself a little circus in miniature. The animals and the clown are between 5 cm and 14 cm tall and can be crocheted from just a few scraps of leftover yarn. I used Catania by Schachenmayr (yardage 125 m/50 g - hook size 2.5 mm). The animals can also be used as keychains or bag charms. The circus wagon is large enough to place small dolls (Playmobil, Lego, Haba Little Friends, Sylvanian Family) inside.

These two clowns are egg cups with egg cozies. You can quickly crochet them from a few pieces of leftover yarn. I used googly eyes for the eyes, but you can also embroider them on.
