Weekly horoscope:
Since I now luckily own a crystal ball, here is the weekly horoscope for the week of February 5-11, zodiac sign "crafting addict":

Beware of treacherous yarn stores / yarn shops that, offline and online alike, sneak up on you treacherously from behind, suck you dry down to your last penny, and then even pelt you with yarn. --> That sabotages progress on the way to the final round of world domination. Better stay home, or only go online to Crazypatterns. Then you'll be safe.

Okay, then please insert the usual horoscope babble yourself here; I don't feel like doing it right now: more money, new love, unexpected opportunities, etc. blah blah. As a regular horoscope reader, you know how it goes and can piece it together yourself.

I like the crafting horoscope much better anyway.

Actually, I should be doing a little housework. But Anton has just fallen asleep on my stomach. So unfortunately I can’t tidy up, but I can still crochet with a sleeping child on my stomach. 

Today, since skiing is still out of the question for now, I embroidered three green “stars” in cross-stitch on a towel, and tonight the loop scarf/scarf should grow a bit while I watch TV. 
Many thanks for the tips against UFOs, I think they’re wonderful!

I’ve been working a little on my on-the-go project (a half-circle shawl).

Later, I’ll sit down to work on my tablecloth while watching crime shows on TV.

Before I do that, I’ll study a little Japanese.

The stars are looking pretty good for me, too.
I’ve already used up quite a bit of “diet yarn” and scraps.
The sweater for my granddaughter is already two-thirds done.
And I’ll get back to Tunisian crochet tomorrow.
The stars are aligned better for that tomorrow than they are today.
I’ve almost forgotten about the yarn shops—I don’t even think about them. ;-)
Instead, I’m enjoying my stash. With this, I’ll easily be able to hold out until the end of April.

I only crocheted a few rows during my coffee break today. Maybe I’ll get a little more done later; for now, I’m going to do some ironing for an hour ;-)
Oh yeah, I also took care of my yarn stash today. As for the yarn diet… that’s definitely never going to work for me.

 I finished an item I’d already started today. Then I was able to crochet some dish sponges.

All made from stash yarn—the scrap basket is getting emptier.
