Crocheting socks has always been a huge challenge for me, which is why I created this pattern, because I want to make crocheting socks easier for you. The socks are crocheted from the cuff to the sole in back-and-forth rows. The cuff consists of post double crochets, which are worked alternately from the front and back, making the cuff very elastic. The toe of the sock is widened in the middle of the work with increases. The increases at the heel give the sock an anatomical fit. You should be able to do these stitch variations:
  • single crochet
  • half double crochet
  • front and back post double crochet
  • decreases and increases worked with half double crochet
  • triple decrease, decreasing 3 stitches together with half double crochet
For this great project you need:
  • a 2.0 crochet hook
  • sock yarn 100g / 420m; I used AKTIV sock yarn from Supergarne, which is available in many great colors and spectacular gradients
  • a pair of scissors
  • a 3–3.5 crochet hook for the foundation chain and the first row of half double crochet to close the sole of the sock. You can go directly to the pattern here

Super comfortable:

Relax Socks 6-ply in a simple lace pattern - knitting pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Knitting pattern for pretty and, above all, comfortable wellness/relax/house socks with a loose cuff, which can also be rolled down – so “nothing cuts in”..

Leg height as desired. The simple lace pattern consists of only 2 pattern rows.

  • In size 36/37, these socks are suitable for a somewhat wider foot,
  • in size 39/40 for a normal-width and somewhat wider foot,
  • in sizes 41 to 43 for a generally narrower and normal-width foot
The PDF knitting pattern is written for sizes 36 to 43 and illustrated.

General knitting skills required. We knit with a set of double-pointed needles. Difficulty level: intermediate

We need: 1 skein = 150 g (yardage approx. 420 m to 450 m of a 6-ply sock yarn, used here for the short leg of approx. 10 cm: approx. 70 g for shoe size 39; set of double-pointed needles 3.5–4.0; row counter is helpful; tape measure, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

Lustige Puschen

With this weather, sandals or anything like that are still a long way off. Cozy socks are still just the thing, and why should they always be so boring? Here I have two designs that are real eye-catchers.

The highly sought-after shark sock, which looks as if it has swallowed your foot and always makes a great gift. (There is also a pattern for babies)

Or the cool crocodile sock, which also loves to eat feet.

Difficulty level: intermediate

What you need to know: magic ring, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitches, and a bit of dexterity

What you need for the socks:

Color-coordinated yarn from Gründl Happy, buttons for the eyes, a 3.5 mm crochet hook, plus a sewing needle and scissors. You’ll find exact quantities in the respective product description
