I'm looking for...

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for:

1. a crochet pattern for Inspector Colombo.
I've already received photos of figures like these, but unfortunately no information on where to get the pattern.

2. a pattern, or tips on authors for sailing ships in filet crochet.
I have photos for that too, but they don't get me any further.

Maybe someone here can help me.

I’m guessing that with “Inspector Columbo,” there’s the same problem (licensing) as with all other well-known movie, TV, and comic book characters in general.

yes, that’s probably the reason—it’s not allowed to offer patterns for licensed characters, whether for sale or as a free pattern.

What you might be able to do is find a generic character and then add the hairstyle, coat, hat, etc., yourself.

Sailing ship as a filet crochet pattern

Have you already looked in filet crochet magazines?
I have an old knitting book, it used to be available at Tchibo, and it describes a curtain with a ship on it.
How big should the ship be?

The ship is supposed to be a real “model ship” made using filet crochet. You can see examples on Pinterest, for instance.
