A great idea for using up leftover yarn:
Even Barbie dolls get cold in winter and need warm clothes!

With the very same pattern for sweaters and pants
you can crochet very different styles, depending on which yarn you use. The cut is very simple, so you can easily vary the width and length, allowing Barbie to appear in an oversized look one time and a slim-fit look another.

When it’s time to head outside, all that’s missing is a warm jacket. How about fur? Of course, no animal has to suffer for that, because Barbie’s clothes are crocheted! Here you can get a pattern for a fur jacket, a fur hat, and a loop scarf. This cut is also very simple and can be altered in width and length.

Finger puppets are always popular, quick to crochet, and fit into any pants pocket. Here’s a little comforter that can make a doctor’s visit or a long car ride fun and varied. When the funny clown starts joking around, children quickly forget the “nasty shot” or the boredom.
All you need is a crochet hook, leftover cotton yarn and this pattern!
Also suitable for beginners!

Baby doll Jakob is dressed nice and warmly:

Baby Knitting Set Jakob - 4 Pieces

This trendy baby knitting set consists of a hat, jacket, loop scarf, and baby shoes and is made from soft merino yarn, approx. 120 to 130 m yardage (approx. 150 g in petrol + approx. 50 g light beige or eggshell color) for needle size 3 to 4. You will also need a measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for sewing in ends, 3.0 mm crochet hook, 1 button for the loop scarf, buttons for the jacket if needed, and an appliqué if desired.

Are you still looking for a small Christmas gift for a child? Then I’d like to suggest this paper doll (approx. 25.6 cm tall) with matching outfits for summer and fall. All you have to do is print out this classic toy—cutting and folding are part of the fun and make for a lovely activity during the Christmas holidays.
