Hi everyone,
I learned how to crochet cluster stitches from a YouTube video, and I’m really proud of myself for figuring it out :)
What I’d like to know is, what can you actually do with these cluster stitches? I mean, what are some of the different ways to use them?
I’d appreciate any tips.
Thank you both, so it can be used in lots of different ways. I think I'll have to keep at it and experiment a little.
Crocheting cluster stitches is almost as much fun for me as making double crochet stitches, but only almost :)
That would definitely be really cute for babies too
If you crochet the puff stitches with a somewhat lighter yarn, would that also work for summer?
Or for summer items, does the technique not matter as long as the yarn is light enough?
Actually, you can use any stitch pattern, but sometimes it doesn’t suit the yarn.
With very colorful yarn, you can hardly see the pattern, or it doesn’t stand out well.
I've also seen scarves and jackets made with them. Personally, I especially love cluster stitches when they're a bit chunkier. They can make you look very stylish :D

Thanks for the tip.
I hadn’t thought about the fact that very colorful yarn could make the pattern disappear.

A scarf with them is definitely very pretty, and with the right yarn, also very elegant. I can really imagine a jacket with cluster stitches for babies. For adults, it might look a bit too busy? But I’m not sure yet, since I haven’t seen an adult jacket with cluster stitches before.
