Crochet pattern for the “Anchor” bag

A nautical bag with small anchor motifs that’s perfect for your next vacation.
An ideal companion for a walk on the beach or a stroll through town, great for carrying just a few essentials.

Here you’ll find the pattern and material details

It is crocheted in waistcoat stitch (it’s not that difficult and is explained in the pattern). The anchors are crocheted in following a chart.

The pattern is currently available at a 25% discount in my shop.

Crochet yourself a truly special kind of bag: a practical and super beautiful diaper bag!

Click here and you’ll go straight to the pattern!

A diaper bag is super practical for changing on the go! Everything you need to have quickly at hand fits into 2 large side pockets and an extra pocket for small items.

The closure with the hair elastic is something very special! The elastic is worked in right away and not sewn on. How does that work? I’ll be happy to show you in a step-by-step photo tutorial.

It is crocheted easily and quickly, almost entirely from granny squares . Crocheting it is great fun, and you’ll end up with a wonderful bag that no one else has and that is guaranteed to draw envious looks! ;-)

Psst...The bag also makes a great gift !

Have fun crocheting!

This way to the pattern

This Tunisian crocheted handbag / clutch is 25 cm long and 20 cm wide.

To make it, you will need approx. 75 g of 4-ply gradient yarn (50% cotton / 50% polyacrylic) as well as a size 3.5 Tunisian crochet hook

I crocheted the bag in the trendy color red using leftover “Feuervogel” from Traumgarne.

The clutch is closed with two suspender clips.

The two-page PDF pattern has an easy to intermediate difficulty level.

I hope you enjoy crocheting it.

A shopping bag is easy to crochet and can also be managed by beginners.
This bag stands out because it offers two closure options: on the one hand, it can be closed at the top; on the other hand, it can be closed with the second button after folding and then stored away.

You can crochet the bag in two colors or use up your leftovers and make it nice and colorful. Whatever you like. You only need to know the basics, such as single crochet, double crochet, and chain stitches.

I used a cotton blend with a yardage of 150 meters per 50 grams. For the blue-beige bag, 2 skeins of each color were needed.

Take a look at the description and the other photos; you’ll find the link to the pattern below the image.

Best wishes
Caro

You can always use shopping bags—you never know what might jump out at you while you’re out and about and absolutely have to come along. And you can always knit shopping bags yourself, too, like this one here—made of cotton, in a lovely onion pattern, which also includes a knitting chart. You’ll be all set for your next stroll!

You can find the pattern here.

During the dark winter months, a shopping bag can also be a bit more colorful. That lifts your spirits.
This bag is knitted from cotton in two different colors. The pattern is not difficult; anyone can do it. However, you should be able to knit in the round.

You can find the pattern here.
