Homemade Christmas tree ornaments are something truly special! Here you’ll find the pattern for 4 different tree ornaments: a star, a bell, a snowflake, and an angel. You can crochet them with glitter yarn or in a solid color using mercerized cotton, depending on what you have at home. The pattern is also suitable for crochet beginners.
You can download it here!

Crochet Christmas decorations now:

Crochet pattern for Christmas decoration / star / flower

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

The decorative piece consists of two parts, each of which can also be used individually. Finished size with the yarn listed below: approx. 7 cm in diameter.

The PDF pattern has plenty of pictures.

All you need is a yarn remnant of approx. 10 g of a metallic yarn, e.g. used here: Nora Madeira, 25 g – 100 m, 80% viscose, 20% metallized polyester for crochet hook size 2.5 - 3.0. Used here: crochet hook size 2.5.
However, any yarn you like with a suitable crochet hook size can also be used. If necessary, the size of the finished piece will change according to the yarn.

These crochet skills are sufficient:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows and crocheting in rounds. The pattern includes link tips for crochet techniques.

You can use these cute angels in three sizes as Christmas tree ornaments, but also as gift tags, decorations for an Advent wreath, or table decorations.

The angels are heavenly quick to crochet and still easy to make even “last minute.” Perfect for using up scraps.

Here’s the pattern

You will receive a detailed PDF pattern (9 pages) with text and a clear crochet chart for each angel.

The angels were crocheted with Catania and a 2.5 mm hook.

They are 6 cm, 7 cm, and 9 cm tall without the loop.

Santa Claus

A Christmas ornament that even beginners can quickly make from leftover yarn. A gnarled Christmas fellow with a somewhat nostalgic look.

Angel Big-Bärbel
Well suited as a different kind of Christmas bauble, since Big Bärbel is filled with a Styrofoam ball, making her relatively light and a fun eye-catcher on the Christmas tree.

Details & pattern

Leftover yarn is enough to make it; the pattern is well suited for beginners.

The crocheted stars made from Granny Triangles are a really wonderful Christmas tree decoration—especially because they look equally beautiful from both sides! Since they each consist of 4 triangles, they are nice and sturdy and keep their shape well.

This is how beautiful your tree will look:

Click here and take a look at more photos and info!

I crocheted the stars in this picture with Catania by Schachenmayr, but you can crochet with a yarn of your choice!

Here you’ll receive a very detailed step-by-step pattern with over 60 high-quality photos and illustrations! In addition to the precise written explanation, a crochet chart is included. The PDF pattern consists of 16 pages.

Difficulty level: intermediate, but the pattern is so detailed that even beginners with a little experience
can give it a try!

Have fun crocheting!

Decorative coasters " little snowflakes "
The decorations/coasters " little snowflakes " with a diameter of approx. 10 cm are very well suited for the Christmas season and create a cozy atmosphere. They can be beautifully placed on the festive table as coasters for candle holders or used as door and window decorations and Christmas tree ornaments. Not much yarn is needed to make one snowflake, so they can be crocheted from leftover yarn.
