Current Christmas trends?

Well, there are deer everywhere in the home decor stores—they seem to be all the rage :)
(Or are those reindeer?)

Well, my coworkers are all about pinecones, moss, and branches this year.
But I can’t say whether that’s a trend or just how things are at my workplace.

Personally, I prefer traditional decorations: straw stars, glass ornaments, and music boxes that play Christmas carols. A big Advent wreath and lots of candles.

When I was at the home improvement store yesterday, I noticed gnomes in the Christmas section... this trend seems to still be going strong... and deer too, as Krea_Tina also mentions

The way I see it, this Christmas offers plenty of opportunities to indulge your personal preferences to your heart’s content.

Whether it’s classic red and gold, pastel shades with fairy-tale characters, or a colorful mix featuring comic book heroes—or...or...or...

I’m not sure, but I think those are deer. (At least most of what I’ve seen so far.)
I don’t know if that’s intentional.
I was told that the difference between a deer and a reindeer is the size of the antlers.

When it comes to yarns, I’ve noticed that scrubby yarn is in high demand—maybe because it has such a lovely, Christmassy sparkle (at least the one from RICO).
